Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 9th day of the 9th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi.

The first yearly Sabbath of Unleavened Bread begins the Sacred New Year and the Spring Holy Day season in 17 weeks and 5 days on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, March 27th on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Tuesday, March 26th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) will be observing the Spring Holy Days a month later and the Jewish Calculated Rabbinical Calendar begins a day early in spring.

A newsletter reader responded to last weeks newsletter.

I am with you 100%. Terminology differs in different languages, and in English we can get so hung up on the current politically correct jargon of our group that we miss the message we should have received. Different groups of people in the English-speaking world see terms differently, and are we intolerant to them as a result? The same with conspiracy theories. Some people get so hung up on trying to plumb the depths of the conspiracy, they see Jesuits behind everyone who does not agree with them, they avidly spend time watching videos and listening to CDs and reading books on the conspiracies, and meanwhile are they concentrating on the infinite unfathomable love of our Master so they can be changed into His image, or on sin??? If we want to behold Him and be changed, we will leave the evil behind and concentrate on the good. We cannot correct every wrong idea of every other person in the world and God never gave us this task, but we can try to be as faithful as we can to the revelation we have at the present. Perhaps if we embrace further truth we will find we did not have things quite right anyway, and meanwhile we have alienated ourselves from our fellow believers.

If terms and names are distorted in significance, we get a problem quoting the Bible, the Spirit of Prophecy, and we begin to be hung up on whether we are using the right terms instead of the divine love for us. Let us not get pulled away by the lesser things so that we lose the greater things.

Yours in the love of God.

I responded:

Good to hear from you again! One sentence in your response really hits between the eyes.

"Perhaps if we embrace further truth we will find we did not have things quite right anyway, and meanwhile we have alienated ourselves from our fellow believers."

I am very sensitive to this because God through the Holy Spirit has lead me so far in a deeper understanding of God's Word as I have committed myself to deeper study. It is almost frightening, certainly alarming, how much I see so clearly now to which I was oblivious before. This leads to the obvious conclusion there may be more God has to show me, which is just as startling. Even more to the point, what do I seem to understand clearly now, which might not be quite right.

This leads me to great sympathy for those who may not see some things as clearly as I do. It also leads me to humility to not get too cocky about what I know. I have seen so many people led astray and I am not immune. My hope, my anchor, and my guiding light is to know that He has the power to keep me firmly in His grasp. I do not doubt but always trust.

My studies of the Sacred Name are at the tip of this concern. I have carefully weighed the evidence so I have no doubt of the reasonable (not absolute) accuracy of my findings. It is so far out of agreement with general understandings that I fear it pushes me out of touch with many. I have tried for many years to walk away from the study or set it to one side but the Holy Spirit keeps dragging me back to it.

We struggle on and pray for His continued guidance, which He has promised. Therefore we have it. Trust and obey.

Be at peace,

The newsletter reader responded:

It is so good to talk with you. I agree fully that as the Holy Spirit broadens our understanding, we may change our views. One case in point is who are the 144,000? I have changed on this several times before I feel I have settled into one concept.

The problem comes when a person pushes their understanding to the point at which they condemn others for not seeing things the way they do. Our Lord is working on all of us in His own way and according to our characters and understanding. Some understand some things better than others and vice versa. We are all searching and trying to understand the wisdom of our Infinite God. We should never be dictatorial even if we are sure of our position. Let the Holy Spirit work in His own way and He will bring us into the unity of the faith. If we go out on a limb condemning others for their 'lack of understanding' we may find later that we have been wrong, but anyway, our Master said He had many things to teach the disciples who had been taught personally by Him for 3 1/2 years, which they could not yet understand. He will lead us into all truth. Let us be kind and tolerant, and forbearing towards one another in love.

May our Lord continue to reveal to us more of His truth when we are ready to receive it.

I responded:

I was reviewing your email and have been pondering your comment about the 144k. You seem like a deep student of the Bible. I would be interested in your comments on my observations about the 144k, if you have some time. Of course, I am interested in any observations you have to share.

Be at peace,

The newsletter reader responded:

Thank you for the message. The 144,000 has puzzled many and there have been many conflicting views on who they are. and how they relate to the great multitude. I have downloaded the 3 blogs you have made on the subject, mentioned below. Unfortunately, I am a bit pressed for time at the moment to provide a response because I will be leaving West Africa to go to the Far East in just over another week, and there are many things to complete. Also, I am just finishing a book on the Midnight Cry which has taken a large amount of time and energy (it just needs editing), and I have another book well underway for the Institute of World Mission. I will try to get round to studying your material next month, since I will be traveling a lot from the night of 24 November, but will always make time for the study of God's word which is the bread of life.

Yes, you are right. I think that to be a spiritual person you must be consumed with studying the Word and communing with Him. We know so little about the wonderful truths God wants to reveal to us, often because we spend so little time with Him, and we are not fasting like Daniel for greater understanding. We will not just be taken into heaven because we want to go. 1 John 3:1-3 tells us that when He shall appear we shall be like Him for we shall see him as he is. And he that has this hope purifies himself, even as He is pure. Our Master has guided me into understanding many things through His word over the years and continues to bring me in contact with the people I need to learn from and those I need to teach. I have been calling strongly to the church in Niger in West Africa to wake up and to take our Master seriously. As I have done this, he raised up a young son of a pastor, who has become a muslim, to try to destroy my reputation and influence, but finally our Lord triumphed and he has packed his bags after a 5 month spiritual battle. We have a daily fight against evil forces and their human agents, but our Lord is mightier because he is the Almighty.

God bless and be with you in all things.

I responded:

I know that God will guide you and protect you in your travels. I look forward to hearing from you again. The more we converse the more I sense a true servant of God. There are so few. There are at least 144,000 in training somewhere. I consider a privately held part of my ministry to be reaching out to find the 144,000 and draw them together in study, sharing and growth.

The turn toward the subject of the 144k has been reinforced by the Holy Spirit with the opportunity to see a repeat program about the subject on 3ABN. One part of the program came out very strongly to me.

Now let me just tell you right now they're never going to know who they are. You'll never find these people, the 144,000, coming around saying "I'm one of the 144,000." If they do, you'd better run, because that will never happen. Because, dear friend, it's impossible...
In a sense it is true, modesty will require that the 144k will not brag about who they are but they will know who they are at some point in their experience. I am concerned there is a subtle form of indoctrination occurring that I have seen in several cases. Watch out for those Judaizers! Watch out for those fanatics! Watch out for those feast-keepers! Watch out for those legalists! Watch out for those people wearing tassels! Watch out for those following the Law of Moses!
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
Revelation 14:4

I was reminded of these quotes I have been pondering the past couple of weeks.

Christ says that there will be those in the church who will present fables and suppositions, when God has given grand, elevating, ennobling truths which should ever be kept in the treasure house of the mind. When men pick up this theory and that theory, when they are curious to know something it is not necessary for them to know, God is not leading them. It is not His plan that His people shall present something which they have to suppose, which is not taught in the Word. It is not His will that they shall get into controversy over questions which will not help them spiritually, such as, Who is to compose the hundred and forty-four thousand? This those who are the elect of God will in a short time know without question. --Manuscript 26, 1901 {1SM 174.3}
I am encouraged by this guidance.
Let us strive with all the power that God has given us to be among the hundred and forty-four thousand. And let us do all that we can to help others to gain heaven. We are to have an intense interest in Christ Jesus; for he is our Saviour. He came to this world to be tempted in all points as we are, to prove to the universe that in this world of sin human beings can live lives that God will approve. {RH, March 9, 1905 par. 4}
I am comforted by the promise.
32 You will know the truth and the truth will make you free.
John 8:32 (FTCABE)

Are you striving to be a part of the 144k?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
