Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 28th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi. The fall Holy Day season begins with Trumpets Sabbath in 13 weeks and 1 day on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Sabbath, September 7th on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Friday, September 6th). The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) will be observing the Holy Days a month later this year. The Jewish Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is two days early in the fall this year.
Continuing reply from a newsletter reader who wrote: Hello Frank, I thank you for clearing that up about you NOT BEING a Lunar Sabbath person, it was not brought up by any one at Bible Explorations however it was just a thought of my friend ZZZ [A Bible Explorations supporter] and he was not sure of it. Yes, your conclusions of the feast days are different than the Millerite movement or equinox spring feast keepers, but I was trying to figure out why the Hebrew Roots people and the Messianic Jews go by the Bible definition of the barley and the new moon along with Hillel calendar of setting feasts and then I read what you stated in your e-letters. All of these and a couple of other feast believers opinions were printed out and given to ZZZ to review and aide me in my understanding of why are people are so different as to when the feasts are to be kept! Let me tell you my heart was broke when my Hebrew Roots friends with whom I go to a Sabbath keeping church called New Beginnings Christian Church, who only recently a few years ago began to keep the Sabbath and started to keep the feasts of Yahweh. The pastor a few years earlier told the church that he was under the conviction not to keep Easter, Christmas, and Halloween and not to use substitutions also! He stated "we are not going to do those things anymore and half of the people stopped attending!" So when the feasts were celebrated differently this year New Beginnings didn't know what to do. The Hebrew roots people had a small celebration in accordance to what they said was witnessed in Jerusalem, barley and new moon, and followed the Jews in keeping their dates. But I went to Bible Explorations on the 14th after the new moon after the equinox and did the Passover and unleavened bread feast. I am a newcomer to these feasts, with the upcoming Tabernacles will be my fifth year. So in conclusion, Bible Explorations had nothing to do with my query, it was because your feast day dates are different like those others who have found the feasts, some have different dates also. Sometimes I think the Devil sits back and laughs at us and taunts us for our differences, but at least we are trying! Please let it be known that I have the utmost respect for you and I hope that we can "respectfully agree to disagree without being disagreeable". Dear XXX, It is good to hear from you again. It is indeed sad that Satan has caused so much disagreement and confusion. This is what we expect from the Master of Lies. This problem troubled me deeply for many years. My answer was to study deeper and harder to look for clues to the proper observance. I was encouraged by the promise of our Saviour, which I include in the signature of every email I write. I believe in ALL. Unfortunately, we are not all led the same way at the same time. When we trust Him and seek Him diligently, we will be rewarded. Deu 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. There is only one truth but it will take time to find it. Trust Him. I believe He led me to the truth but each person must seek and prove the truth for themselves. God will respect and reward each person's diligent effort. Don't take my word for it and don't take anyone else's word. Consider what each has to say and weigh the evidence for yourself. God will guide. Be at peace, Frank T. I am continuing with a point by point examination of the "Sacred Name Concerns" document mentioned in the last newsletter. 6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.Continuing quoting from the "Sacred Name Concerns" presentation.
For centuries, Satan has done his best to divide those who claim to believe in the God of Israel, Creator of Heaven and Earth. In our day, the enemy is trying to stall or discredit the restoration of Israel. Unfortunately, our enemy’s tactics have all too often succeeded. One such issue that the Adversary has used to divide the Body of Messiah in recent days has been the Sacred Name controversy. He has done his job quite well.
In this paragraph the author mentions "the restoration of Israel" and in the previous paragraph of the presentation he mentioned "restoring His people". These comments give us insight into the purpose and focus of the author. I believe this is a major underlying issue of my disagreement with this presentation. This issue heavily influences the conclusions of the author. The primary issue is a very broad one but can be narrowly stated with a few different questions.
The general qualification is that those of Jewish heritage were never the exclusive chosen. All are God's children. All who join in covenant obedience have always been the "Chosen People". For 2000 years the special focus of the "Chosen People" was centered on Abraham and his descendants. I have addressed various aspects of these issues in previous newsletters. I did extensive study and discussions on this subject in 2010.
