Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 24th day of the 10th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Holy Day season begins the New Year in about four months with Passover on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 15th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 14th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is the same in the spring this year.

The worldly, pagan, Roman Catholic, Christian tradition of Christmas creates confusion.

26 Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
Ezekiel 22:26

Excerpts from another interesting discussion from LinkedIn triggered by the worldly holiday season. This is only the first part of the discussion.

What day was Christ really born on? - if not December 25th

The NY13 event called 'Celebrating Christ at Christmas' was broadcast by 3ABN and Hope Channel and streamed on the internet. So you may have heard Ted Wilson's message about Christmas. On Friday, Dec. 13th at Linden Church in Queens (New York City) he said that "Jesus was actually born in the spring" and on Saturday,Dec. 14th at the Hunter College auditorium he said the same thing.

There is an indepth Bible study that calculates the time of his birth as late September or early October. The URL to see this study is posted below.

Before I write a letter to Ted Wilson saying that he is promoting error, I want to ask the group if anyone knows how he arrives at Springtime.

Here is the study that calculates it as September / October. Do you see any error in these calculations.

I viewed this webpage last December, and I see you added this quotation from the book Adventist Home, page 477 - I like it so I want to share it to stimulate the discussion.

Notice that EGW did not say the birthday of Christ was sealed, she said it was concealed which is like saying it was hidden, but you could discover it.

"In His wisdom the Lord concealed the place where He buried Moses. God buried him, and God resurrected him and took him to heaven. This secrecy was to prevent idolatry. He against whom they rebelled while he was in active service, whom they provoked almost beyond human endurance, was almost worshiped as God after his separation from them by death. For the very same purpose He has concealed the precise day of Christ's birth, that the day should not receive the honor that should be given to Christ as the Redeemer of the world -- one to be received, to be trusted, to be relied on as He who could save to the uttermost all who come unto Him. The soul's adoration should be given to Jesus as the Son of the infinite God." Adventist Home, page 477.3

I don't think people care if December 25th is the correct day, it has become a tradition that will overshadow the truth even if Christians accept Scriptures that point to another day. What would they do with Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, these are days that people look forward to spending their money and they would have to be changed. And songs like "Dreaming of a White Christmas" and so many icons, I believe that December 25th is here to stay.

I think it was a mistake for Ted Wilson on Friday night, to mention "Christ was born in the springtime" and his next mistake was not to meet with Mario on Saturday morning, where Mario could have pointed out this error, and then he repeated his mistake at Hunter College on Saturday. He should be told, that if he is going to say that Christ was not born in Dec. 25th, he needs to prove this from the Bible and then Adventists will have another doctrine that is different than other Christian denominations. I'm in favor it that, so that people who love Bible truth, know where to go to find it.

Good point Mark, this year they started "Small Business Saturday" which comes between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This makes it even harder to change from December 25th as Christmas Day.

Another good point about Ted Wilson. This NY13 event was a lost opportunity to come out with Bible proof for his statement that Christ was really born in the Springtime. Or another day besides Dec. 25th - - it would make a strong statement that Adventists are serious Bible students and believe Scripture as revelation from God. We would go on record as having the truth so that those that love Bible truth know where to come for it. It would also demonstrate that the other churches hold tradition above Scripture.

I would like to see how strong Ted Wilson's Scripture proofs are that Christ was born in the Springtime.

Thank you for the interesting comments. I checked the Hit Counter for the page with the study, "What Date Was Jesus Really Born on" and this page was viewed 506 times since I reset the counter on Dec. 6th. I reset the counter when I reached the 3,000th page, and I printed out the results of visits to the 2,999 previous pages before resetting it. This printed out on 64 pages and I have not gone through all the results.

But I am pleased that the Study on when Jesus was really born got over 500 views in the last 10 days. Last Christmas it got over 1,000 views. And for your information, Philly, the page was created in Dec. 2010 .

Mario,

I have read your study and it is solid. Other websites say essentially the same thing. I did a lot of careful study and research before I responded. There is one small issue. You asked:

"I want to ask the group if anyone knows how he arrives at Springtime."

If I understand correctly, you acknowledge that the priests serve twice a year. You said on your website:

"So, in a period of a year, each group of priests would serve in the Temple twice on their scheduled course, in addition to the 3 major festivals, for a total of about five weeks of duty."

Therefore, they serve about every six months, so, I don't see how to prove which part he was serving. This is probably why some say the springtime.

However, there is another evidence (two witnesses...), which is even simpler and reinforces the interpretation of a Fall birth. We begin at the time of His baptism and the beginning of His ministry:

Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, ...

It is not obvious to the casual reader but the deep student of the Bible knows what this means. I am sure it was obvious to the early followers of our Savior. I am not going to make a detailed study and proof of these simple assertions but I suspect you will recognize they are true.

  • Our Savior was baptized and began His ministry when He was about thirty years old.
  • His ministry lasted three and a half years.
  • He died at Passover on the 14th day of the first month.
  • Six months to the day typically separates Passover from Tabernacles on the 15th day of the seventh month.

Conclusion, our Savior was born in the Fall, probably at Tabernacles, which is a September/October time frame.

Frank, thank you. Your answer shows that you are a Bible scholar and you love doing it. Your answer also demonstrates that you do what Ellen White says regarding Bible study.

"I want you to read the Bible because you love it, not because you are driven to it, for then it will be an unpleasant task. But if you neglect the reading of the Bible, you will lose your love for it. Those who love the word of God are those who read it most. By reading and searching out scripture references, you will see the chain of truth, and will see new beauties in the word of God. While you make the Scriptures more your study, and become more familiar with them, you will be better fortified against the temptations of Satan. When inclined to speak, or act, wrong, some scripture will come to arrest you, and turn you right. It is not natural for the heart to love the Bible; but when it is renewed by grace, then the mind will feast upon the rich truths and promises contained in the word of God." {Appeal to the Youth = AY 79.2}

The corrupting influence of the worldly pagan Roman Catholic holiday is centered on the December 25'th date of Christmas observance. Anything that shakes that date with the idea of a true date is met with resistance.

Are you seeking truth or tradition?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
