Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 15th day of the 11th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Holy Day season begins the New Year in about three months with Passover on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 15th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 14th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is the same in the spring this year.

Continuing excerpts from a LinkedIn discussion triggered by the worldly holiday season. This is part three of this heated discussion. We have heard the denials of a pastor who doesn't want tradition upset. Now we will hear from an intellectual an alternate viewpoint.

I think we are agree that an exact day is not specified in the Bible, Monday is just as good a guess as Thursday or Friday. We can also agree that there is no date on the calendar revealed as the day of his birth. But we can calculate an approximate time

Maybe a closer look at the 2300 day prophecy or Daniel 8 and the 70 week prophecy of Daniel 9, could help us. In Daniel 9 - it talks about the anointing of the Messiah and the he will be cut off in the middle of the week. These may help in calculating the approximate time he was born.

A great way to calculate the timing. Ellen G. White notes on the matter would agree with a posture you mentioned.

Dr. Joseph,

Please share with us the EGW notes you mention.

A member of another FORUM posted this URL to an article about the date Christ was born. http://www.ucg.org/doctrinal-beliefs/biblical-evidence-shows-jesus-christ-wasnt-born-dec-25/

A similar method is used to arrive at late September

Actually, Jesus was born at Passover time. This is one of the things revealed by Revelation 12:off. The woman clothed with the sun, standing on the full moon, about to give birth, is a description of the night time sky on the eve of Passover. As the evening progresses, we see the man-chills, Boötes, born. At the woman's feet we see the head of the Serpent, waiting to devour the man-child. As the night further progresses, we find Michael (Ophiochus) wrestling with the serpent. The tail of the serpent sweeps across 1/3 of the heavens.

The manchild is defined as the one who would rule the world with a rod of iron, who ascended into heaven.

John uses the passover nighttime imagery to describe the birth of Jesus.

Ergo, Jesus was born at Passover time, assuming that one of the purposes of Revelation 12 is to describe the birth and exaltation of Jesus.

This adds additional basis for Jesus being called "The Lamb of God" (lambing season occurs around Passover time). He is also Himself our Passover.

Also, He was baptized in Tishri, crucified 3.5 years later at Passover.

This is double basis for His being "The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world."

Jim,

The Tabernacles sky is an identical full moon. I have no comment about the other astrology symbolisms.

He was "The Lamb of God" because He was sacrificed to save us from sin as was typified by the Passover lamb for centuries.

I agree the seventh month (Tishri) when Tabernacles occurs is when He was baptized. Please explain why Luke describes it as being near His birthday.

Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, ...

Frank -- no, the Sukkoth (Tabernacles) sky is the opposite of the springtime Passover sky. Virgo (the Virgin) is the springtime constellation only. She is standing on the full moon only on the eve of Passover as the full moon rises in the east, at about the same time as the sun is setting in the west -- signaling the beginning of Passover.. Virgo is in the west at Sukkoth, and would not be standing on the full moon.

Yes, it is true, He is the Passover Lamb -- a birth at Passover adds greater strength to that fact beyond mere coincidence.

Your rendition of Luke 3:23 requires a particular translation (i.e., KJV). The LEB has "And Jesus, when he began his ministry, was himself about thirty years old..." The ESV also renders it this way "Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about ithirty years of age..." The RSV does the same "Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age..." The NIV also renders it "Now Jesus himself was about thirty years old when he began his ministry..."

There is nothing in the Greek of the passage which requires Jesus to have just reached the age of 30 at His baptism. The addition insertion of the participial "began to be" is not required for the translation. The best that we may say is that He was about 30 years old when He was baptized -- which would have been true whether he was born in Nisan, Elul, Tammuz or Tishri.

If Christ was born in the fall and he was baptized at the age of 30, then he was baptized in the fall. Daniel 9: 27 talks about and anointing of the Messiah and that he was cut off in the middle of the 70th week. Since 7 days = 7 years, then the middle of the week represents 3 1/2 years and this would make his death on the cross in the spring three and a half years later, which is consistent with Good Friday which is always in March or April.

Mario,

I have studied God's Calendar and His Holy Days then compared it with the pagan Roman Catholic Gregorian calendar and its holy days. I have been surprised to find that some Catholic holy days are truly based on Passover, which explicitly defines when the death (Passover), burial, and resurrection (Wave Sheath) of our Savior occurred. Unfortunately, the Catholic calendar has the error of fixing the resurrection on an actual Sunday instead of the true day of God's Calendar it happened. This is why easter Sunday falls on a different date on the pagan Roman Catholic Gregorian calendar every year. But it is valuable that their careful preservation of the Sunday following Passover, marks for us a careful calculation of Passover. The date is always the same on God's Sacred Holy Calendar no matter what day of the week. You may not be aware that there is severe disagreement on the dates of God's Calendar.

Frank, no, I was not aware of disagreement. I would be interested if you give us an example of how to calculate these dates. Can you do one calculation that fits in the space LINKEDin gives us to comment or provide a URL that shows one calculation. This could be interesting.

Mario, This is a huge subject that I spent years studying. I wrote an entire book on the subject that only covers the basics. It is titled simply "God's Sacred Calendar". It is available to read for free online.

http://www.sacredcalendar.info

In brief, you have the popular "Calculated Rabbinical Calendar" used by most Jews, which is based on a reasonably close formula developed in Babylon thousands of years ago. There is the modern Karaite Calendar, which uses observations of the barley harvest and the crescent of the moon from Jerusalem. Then there is the Millerite Calendar popular with Adventist feast-keepers based on a statement in the Appendix of GC "ANCIENTLY THE YEAR DID NOT COMMENCE IN MIDWINTER, AS NOW, BUT AT THE FIRST NEW MOON AFTER THE VERNAL EQUINOX."

I use this (simply stated) rule of determination. The first yearly Sabbath is the first full moon after the equinox. This is the "Spring Passover" rule. It is based completely on the "signals" of the sun and moon to determine Holy Days as commanded by God. It is interesting to note that this determination is close to the rules used by the RCC to determine Easter. In any given year the dates of the different calendars may match but often differ by a day or two and sometimes even a month.

Huge subject...

I have a saying, "So many details, so much confusion."

Are you willing to work to find the truth?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
