Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 8th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6018 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin in 16 weeks with Trumpets on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Friday, September 29th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Thursday, September 29th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research and others have identified for determining the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is one day early in the fall.

Continuing excerpts of new discussion from the E-ventist Linked group about the ecumenical movement of the spiritualistic Emerging Church (The One Project) entering the Seventh-day Adventist denomination. There are also the related and sometimes partially synonomous themes of Spiritual Formation, Contemplative Prayer, Centering prayer, Christian contemplation, and Christian mysticism.

My attempt to shed light on the disagreement and offer words of explanation described in last weeks newsletter was criticized as judgmental.

Numerous other comments were removed to keep within my target size for a readable newsletter.

Gee Frank the last time I checked I'm an American entitled to free speech, not being judged and if this sight is for SDA then create an SDA website where "outsiders cannot participate."

Your comments concern me Frank... Eternal life is for those who ask God to forgive them of their sins and invite Jesus Christ into their heart and soul as their personal Lord and Savior. Salvation is not for those who follow "SDA standards." That is unless I have read my Bible wrong Frank.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Rev 2:7 KJV)

To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. (Rev 3:21 KJV)

Eternal life is for those who overcome temptation and sin in their life as Jesus overcame in His life which is only possible through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God which is freely made available to all men because of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, God.

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. (John 7:24 KJV)

Even in America judges exist.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV)

God even has judgment, it would seem none of us have the right to not be judged. I esteem the judgment of God greater than the judgment of men and would rather be to stand in His day than to be praised by those who would condemn the judgment of God this day.

Mario Petrovalle

Founder at E-ventist Network ( LINKEDin group )

Walter, this is a closed group for Adventists and those that belief the Adventist doctrines. You are a guest, there are other non-Adventists in the group who joined after you did. I now ask non-Adventists who want to learn about us to LINK to a 'Greeter' before entering, if they are Pastors and want to join the subgroup for Pastors, then I ask them to LINK to a 'Guide' as well.

I want you to continue as a guest, and I point out to the members, just how valuable you have been to this discussion. The people who become involved with Spiritual Formation feel blessed and have a positive experience, this demonstrates just how dangerous it is.

Eternal Life is a gift from God and He decides who gets saved. So you should add obedience to your definition. I point out that the Bible describes the group at the end of time in Revelation 12: 17 - Satan makes war with the remnant church, which keeps the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

So as you see this happening, it means we are getting closer to the end.

Rev. 18: 1-4 describes a calling of God's people to come out of Babylon. We understand that they will be called out of the Sunday-keeping churches to keep the commandments, which includes the fourth commandment.

I am not clear on what you call "SDA standards" you may mean the Sabbath, the time is coming where the Sabbath will be a test of loyalty to God. Since you are in this group, this is the one thing that you should learn from being a guest here,

Pastor Mock

Quentin, I consider myself as a brother in Christ, not of a religion.

Mario Petrovalle

Walter, your profile says you are a Pastor of a Baptist church in Ohio. SInce you do not consider yourself as part of a religion, does that confuse any of the members of your church in St. Paris?

What about doctrines, do you believe all the doctrines of the Baptist Church?

Pastor Mock

What bothers me Frank is your stiff index finger pointing at me in judgment. I respect Ellen White as I respect John and Charles Wesley who founded the United Methodist Church and others who have founded churches as children of God. My faith is in the Word of God and Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. My "primary reference" is the Bible which is the compass of my life and then I read and hear what those of this world have to say. I have read Ellen White's writing as Billy Graham, Mother Teresa, Joel, among others, and I have gained insight from their writings but my true inspiration is from the Word of God. My positive experience with Dr. Terry Wardle and Spiritual Formation has not taken away from my salvation as I have done as the Bible says, not humans, God's Word, when I asked God for forgiveness of my sins and invited Jesus Christ into my heart and soul as my Lord and Savior, not a religious order and or religious doctrine.

Pastor Mock,

I am deeply saddened that you consider my words criticism and judgment. I was attempting to shed light on the disagreement. I was attempting to offer words of explanation to your questions. Apparently, I should not have bothered.

John 14:21 He who has my laws and keeps them, he it is who has love for me: and he who has love for me will be loved by my Father, and I will have love for him and will let myself be seen clearly by him. (Bible in Basic English)

Mario Petrovalle

Frank; I like your selection of John 14: 21, and I think it is a good passage to share with Walter Mock. I am not in agreement that "Apparently. I should not have bothered."

Your comment did shed light on the discussion and your words of explanation were proper.

Remember there are others in the group who have been involved with Spiritual Formation and do not post comment or admit to their positive experience with this form of spiritualism.

Walter should be allowed to express his opinions so that he can be shown his errors in the spirit of Christian brotherhood.. For every Walter who comments about his experience there are at least a dozen who will not comment. Consider your message for them as well. Frank, seek the Lord on this matter and He will reveal Jesus, and how He cares about us and people like Walter, He cared enough to come to earth, knowing exactly how he would be treated.

Pastor Mock

Mario, John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world He gave His only Son Jesus, not religion, that whoever believeth in Jesus, not religion, shall have eternal life."

John 3:17, states that Jesus did not come to judge the world, that's what religion does, Jesus did not come to judge the world but walk among the people." I do not have religion, I have faith Mario for I find religion is good at pointing index fingers and judging. Yes, I believe we are living in the end times but no denomination will get anyone to heaven for I deeply believe when I, when others, ask God for forgiveness of my sins, when they ask for forgiveness of their sins, and ask Jesus Christ into our heart and soul then and only then will we enter into salvation in heaven forever. Religion will not get anyone into heaven and I will go to death believing that.

In regards to this group I worked as a Social Worker and then a Chaplain in a SDA hospital which how other SDA welcomed me to partake in the website. I have no "SDA standards" or any "religious standards." I respect you, and others, as a child of God and frankly I worship and spend time with God everyday not just on a given day. The time is coming I believe where those who have asked God to forgive them of their sins and asked Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior will spend eternity in heaven or those who have not will spend eternity in hell, the Sabbath is not mentioned as the means to obtain salvation; it is a day set aside to worship God in fellowship.

Maybe you should make a suggestion to the SDA not to hire non-SDA individuals to work in their facilities or invite them to partake in their website. Then it can be a select few and unlike what heaven will be like.

Frank T. Clark

Mario,

You are correct to disagree that I said, "Apparently, I should not have bothered." I acknowledge it was a moment of discouragement that my best attempt to be Biblical, factual, and non-judgmental was received as judgmental. In fact, as you noted, my comment was not even directed to Pastor Mock but to the group in general. It was my effort to explain the confusion of the issue. I take very seriously our Savior's command:

Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations ... to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you...

I do not engage in intense discussion and disagreement because it is fun. He has commanded me to witness and teach. It is my joy to serve Him in the way He commanded and not just claim to "believe" in Him without doing what He has commanded.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Can you discern the difference between Biblical teaching and judgment?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
