The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 29th day of the 5th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6019 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin in 4 weeks and 3 days with Trumpets Sabbath on the 1st day of the 7th month (Tuesday, September 15th of the 2015, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Monday, September 14th).

On God's Calendar the Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is one day early.

Dear brother Frank,

1 John 3:1.

How is the Lord blessing you?

Dear brother, do you believe that keeping the feast days is salvational?

Happy Sabbath!

John 17:17

James,

Let me ask you a question.

Matthew 21:23-27
23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did ye not then believe him?
26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

Do you believe that keeping the weekly seventh-day Sabbath is salvational?

Be at peace,

I have discussed these issues in other newsletters:

I was considering being redundant and asking:

Do you believe that following our Savior is salvational?

Do you believe that knowing our Savior is salvational?

I would have also added a little Bible study on these questions but I decided to keep it simple.

The Laodicean believes they are rich and have need of nothing more.

In a similar vein, another website visitor wrote:

Have read your first book which I find to be a beautiful Bible study! Looking forward to the 2nd book. May I ask how one wears the borders on today's attire? Is it mandatory for both men and women? Thanks!

_____

I responded:

My picture on the back cover illustrates how I wear the tassels on my belt loops. The website/book describes this in detail. I believe God has given us the principle of wearing four tassels distributed on four "corners" or sides of the lower part our garment that we implement in any reasonable way we choose. You may be aware the Jews have a very strict traditional way to do this that they don't even do all the time. I don't wear them on my pajamas... but whenever I am fully dressed.

I have struggled (read, prayed, and pondered/meditated) with whether it is for men and women. The word mandatory makes me cringe. As a writer I am very particular with words. It is mandatory for those who choose to obey. I see no problem with a woman wearing them. They must decide for themselves. There are at least two ways to evaluate this. There is almost no guidance God has given us that does not apply equally to men and women. This is a hotly contested idea but I have a suspicion that it is for men as the priests of the family. I have no definite understanding either way.

I wrote in the books:

It is important to remind you, our belief in our precious Saviour is what saves us. When this belief converts us, we will begin to grow into all truth. This belief leads us to study more of His Word. As we learn more about Him, His Love for us draws us closer to Him. When the love of God fills our hearts, we will become passionate about learning everything He tells us. The expression of our love is to follow the guidance He gives us.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

We obey the guidance found in His Law of Love because we trust Him to know what is best for us. Obedience does not save us. Obedience sanctifies us as we prepare for a place in His kingdom of Love.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Obedience and study is our work of salvation. Please, open your heart and pray for the work of the Holy Spirit. Let this book guide you to study deeply into His Word and learn more about His guidance for our lives. What I say may sometimes sound harsh but I pray you may sense a spirit, which is learning to be gentle, under the molding of the Holy Spirit.

Are you tempted to do only the minimum you believe "salvational" to get you into heaven?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
