Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 21 of month 12 of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6021 Anno Mundi. The Spring Sabbaths begin in 3 weeks and three days with God's New Year's Day, Unleavened Bread Sabbath, day 15 of month 1 (Monday, April 2 of the 2018, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Sunday, April 1). On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2018 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will be two days early in spring and one day early in fall. A newsletter reader responds to my statements about calendar determination, which appear at the start of every newsletter. I believe this issue is very critical to final events. This issue has been discussed and argued in many of my ministry newsletters over the last 10+ years. _____ He wrote: Your newsletter says: The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). Spring Equinox 2018 in Northern Hemisphere will be at 11:15 AM on Tuesday, March 20 (All times are in Central Time.) Next new moon will be April 17 Why Passover on April 2 ????????????? _____ I responded: I understand it is difficult to understand calendar determination. :-)This is particularly a problem because there are different ideas for the rules. You have asked about this before. I presented an entire seminar of several multi-hour meetings on the subject of calendar determination at your home during Tabernacles in 2015, as I recall. According to the Spring Passover rule, which my study indicates is the correct rule, it does not matter when the new moon is. The Spring Passover rule determines the start of the year by Passover. Therefore, stated simply, the first day 14/15 of the lunar month after the equinox is Passover. The Spring New Moon rule delays the calendar this year because this rule determines the start of the year by the start of the month. This rule is chosen by those who believe that the Millerites knew the correct rules to determine the calendar. These individuals also mistakenly believe that Ellen White agreed with this rule. Many prominent people believe in the Millerite determination. This is my belief. The reasons are explained as clear as I can in my book. You may believe something different. I am sure God recognizes and accepts the earnest desire of the heart to follow the truth it understands. I firmly believe this issue must be agreed by the 144k before the truth can progress beyond its current Laodicean state. I firmly believe the work of the Third Elijah will unify the 144k on all points of truth for the final sealing. _____ I am deeply troubled by the dissension on this issue. How can the truth of the Biblical Calendar be effectively presented when there is disagreement on the dates? I am comforted by the promise of our Savior. When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. John 16:13 (FTCABE) The truth is growing and spreading now with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in doctrine. Soon the 144k will be sealed and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in power will begin to those who have not already made their decision for error. Do you study deeply to discern the truth? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
