Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is day 3 of month 12 of the year 1987 Anno Crucis of the Biblical Calendar.

The Spring Sabbaths begin with the Biblical New Year's day on the First Sabbath of Unleavened Bread in 6 weeks, day 15 of month 1 (Friday, March 22 of the 2019, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Thursday, March 21).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late in the Gregorian 2019 year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar will also be a month late.

A newsletter reader has responded to the 2019-01-18 blog titled 'Anno Crucis".

They wrote:

I forwarded your previous message from January 18 to a friend of mine who is really big on calendar research.

My friend wanted to ask you some questions and so here they are:

"Where do you find in the Scriptures the words "new moon" (as H2319 & H3394) OR "new lunation" (as H2319 & H3391) that document Yahuah's festal month begins with some phase of the H3394 moon?

I have not found one single verse of this sort either in the Torah or the Tanakh. There are no verses in scripture that promote a moon month. There is and this does not mean NEW MOON, ever!

If Yahuah would have wanted us to follow the new moon for the new month, it would have been very easy for Him to put those two Hebrew words together ... as H2319 & H3394.

Now compare these 2 word numbers: H2319 & H2320. Do you notice something unique? 2319 and 2320 are "related Hebrew words, or family words." They go together. 2319 and 3394 (or 2319 & 3391) are NOT family words and they do not go together."

So there you go ...

Have fun with it.

I myself am still trying to figure things out.

Have a nice Sabbath,

Later they added:

My friend believes the lunar calendar was imported from Babylon.

They say the original Hebrew calendar was only based on the sun and stars.

They believe the vernal equinox marks the beginning of the year with the next day being the first day of the year.

I'm still learning so don't know what I believe but they make a lot of sense to me.

I responded:

In answer to your friend's question.

The simple answer you are looking for does not exist in the way you are searching for it. God warns us that it will take great effort to find Him and His truth. His Word is our primary guide but more is needed for some details.

Jeremiah 29:13 Seek Me! You will find Me when you will search for Me with all your heart.

Your question is very difficult because you are challenging the very basics of God's plan. Therefore, I will have to go back to basics. This is what I understand.

Hebrew is a difficult language to grasp 2000 some odd years after the ThURA was written. This is made worse by the work of the Masoretes (and others) to hide the name of IAUA and make Hebrew more like other languages by adding vowel points to the original words slightly modifying the meanings of the original words. The vowel points are not in the original texts. You are using Masoretic Hebrew, which is a translation that is highly chaotic when trying to understand concepts that are thousands of years old.

Do not despair!

There are clues that give us guidance in His Word. I was shocked when I realized that my early attempts to reject all tradition were misplaced. For example, there is absolutely no way to determine which day of the weekly cycle is the seventh day without the traditions of the fathers. Maybe you don't care, which is the seventh day. There are bad traditions but not all are bad. It takes a lot of work to separate bad from good.

God commands us to participate in holy convocation with other believers. It does not matter whether we are in complete agreement. We must search for the best community we can find and fellowship weekly and yearly as He commands. If we do not obey God, then we will never find and understand His Truth.

Leviticus 23:2 “Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, "These are the appointed times of IAUA, which you shall proclaim as holy convocations. These are My appointed times!"

God makes clear the basics of His Calendar in Genesis chapter 1:14-19. It speaks specifically of the sun and moon with the stars added as an afterthought.

Genesis 1:14. Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heaven to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signals for appointed times and for days and years.

The sun signals days and years while the moon signals months. This is testified by the fathers in all history. An important guide from the Word is the testimony of two witnesses.

Using the stars to determine months and seasons is of Babylonian origin while using the sun and moon is of Hebrew origin.

They sent many materials to "prove" what they were saying.

_____

I responded:

I have examined the many materials you sent. You claim that years follow the exact day of the equinox, months follow the stars, … and though you have not said it yet I suspect you will say that weeks follow the moon. I am reminded of the excuses SAD (Standard Adventist Doctrine) use to dismiss Biblical teachings. They and you use complicated arguments with suspicious logic and analysis to create the appearance of a brick wall of truth. Careful analysis and examination of this wall shows that it is composed of cardboard boxes painted to look like brick. I am not fooled.

The major issue is that you dismiss the mostly faithful witness of believers through the ages. In particular you dismiss any hint that Judaism and Catholicism have anything to teach us. While there are errors, they can be separated from the original basic elements. The primary incontrovertible fact is that our Savior is our example and he confirmed the covenant. He was a Jew and followed Jewish teachings for observing the MUOD. His followers maintained His teachings and there is no record of any changes in the continuity of the Biblical Calendar.

You may choose to disagree but this is what I see in the Bible.

_____

It is sad that there are so many errors fostered by Satan to counterfeit and confuse those attempting to follow God's Word.

God provides His Truth and His witnesses. We will find His Truth, when we search with all our heart.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Deuteronomy 6:5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

I believe this promise with all my heart.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come.

Are you following God or an impostor?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
