Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Special greetings on this weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 1st day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi.

It is 5 days until Pentecost Sabbath on the evening of the 6th day of the 3rd month (Thursday, May 20 on the 2010 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Wednesday, May 19th).

This year, those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination will be one month later than my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The dates on the Jewish Calendar are one day earlier in the spring and one day early in the fall.

I received copies of some emails which were exchanges between some one who believes in the seven day week and another who believes in the Lunar Sabbaths. The person pushing the concept of the Lunar Sabbaths was quite nasty to my friend who was standing up for the seven day week. My friend calls the Lunar Sabbath concept Lunarism which I jokingly call Lunacism.

I thought it would be informative to share my response to my friend.

Thank you for copying me on some of your recent correspondence. I am sad to see such vicious attacks against those who keep the seven day week as a continuous cycle. This is not the spirit of someone who claims to follow our Saviour.

The Biblical command to work six days then rest on the seventh is put to shame by claiming it is inaccurate since the erroneous lunar "weeks" are not always seven days. I recommend being careful to avoid confronting infidels who teach this idea. Leave them to their own folly.

Also, I find it valuable to avoid pushing claims of historical proof. This only leaves an opening for false pagan ideas and other historical "proof" to be stacked in a debate against a simple understanding of the Word of God. Keep it simple and keep it in the Word.

The weak minded and unbelieving will follow any new fanciful idea without careful prayer and study. If the simple, gentle guidance of the Word does not suffice, just let it go.

II Timothy 4:3-4
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

I am also confident our Saviour practiced the proper week. Historical records are very solid since His day. A change of that magnitude would be clearly recorded. Claims which say the observance was changed since His day are quite outrageous. But, argument never serves any purpose. Keep it simple and humble. Let the erring shout their "proofs".

II Thessalonians 2:8-12
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The simple truth of the Bible is just not agreeable or understandable to those who are not growing in grace and knowledge looking for righteousness.

II Peter 3:13-18
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Be at peace,

Frank T. Clark - When the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth and he will show you things to come. John 16:13 (paraphrased)

Is it your desire to truly understand the Word or just find proof for some fanciful idea?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
