(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 11th day of the 10th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6014 Anno Mundi. The New Year begins with the Spring Sabbaths in 17 weeks and 3 days with the first Sabbath of Unleavened Bread on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 19th on the 2011 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Monday, April 18th). An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar determination agree with what my research has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar and the dates on the Jewish Calendar also agree! _____ I received an encouraging email this week from someone diligently searching for truth. Mr. Clark I just ran across your website IAUA and began reading when I got impatient and decided to email you some questions. I have been looking for information about the Mosaic statutes and feast days without much luck. I was sent a book by someone ( I don't know who) that was fascinating but I lost it somewhere in this house (?) and can't find it online or the name of it or the author. Anyway it had talked about the statutes and judgements and feast days and was showing that there is a gender to the statutes. That is some were feminine and some were masculine. I looked in e-sword and saw this was true. Anyway it was claiming something to the effect that we "the bride of Christ" are still to keep the feminine ones while the "bridegroom" fulfilled the masculine ones. For example the statute concerning keeping a worker's wages in your pocket after sundown or withholding someone's wages obviously is still binding as it were as well as those concerning eating certain foods. ie Lev.3:17 "It shall be a perpetual statute (H2708) for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood." H2708 is feminine according to e-sword therefore we keep it today is the premise. Also, I will go back to your website and look into your calender thing....I have been looking half heartedly for sometime into the feast days to better understand their significance and relationship to the events in Jesus's life without gaining much understanding. I always end up at a Jewish site and get lost in the dates and calender stuff. So my questions are a couple as follows.....in a few words can you give me your thoughts about what it is the Adventists aren't doing or studying that caused you and or them such concern in your past and or present? Do you have any thoughts about this gender statute stuff? I'm going back to your website to try and figure out this calender stuff but just simply in general what is the point exactly? Can we know and should keep some feast Sabbaths? What Sabbaths are being talked about in Col 2:16 .... meat and drink and sabbath (days) I have also discovered a website by Jack Sequeira which seams to me to be really great and I am also trying to figure out what the problem was about the 1888 events. I have been reading his website and I find the righteousness by faith and the "in Christ motif" so wonderful it makes my heart melt. In my on again off again christian experience I have been searching a bit on the power of the will which Ellen White mentions and "internalizing"(?) a bit that which I learn. Lastly before I go back to your website I would just like to say thank-you Sir for your website and efforts and story. Someone said somewhere I was reading that one day he would throw his crown at the feet of Jesus and he said he didn't care if there were hardly any jewels in it and I cried as I thought how many there may be like myself with but a few jewels......nevertheless.....there with Jesus ..... to cast their crowns too. _____ I wrote: Thank you for writing me and I am happy to share with you what I understand from my study of the Bible. Answers to your questions: 1. I have read the claims we can learn something by examining the gender of the Hebrew words translated "statutes". After careful study, I find the claim is confusing and misleading. When trying to understand more deeply of God's Word including the statutes and feasts it is easy to get sidetracked by Jewish websites which contain much of Jewish tradition which clouds and obscures God's truth. I have tried very hard on my website to cut through the confusion with clear explanations. Unfortunately, since there is so much information, the explanations are lengthy. In short, the Adventist church has failed to completely leave behind the apostasies of the Dark Ages. They have embraced the weekly Sabbath which is a big step but they have failed to reject the Catholic Holy Days and return to God's Holy Days or yearly Sabbaths. These are part of the statutes or the "Law of Moses" which contains more of value than just the feasts. The importance of this problem is highlighted by the voice of God which says: Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. 3. The weekly and yearly Sabbaths will be observed by all who are willing "follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth." Leviticus 23 is the best description of God's commands on this subject. We can know the truth of anything God has commanded for He will reveal it to those who seek. 4. Colossians 2:16-17 Let no man judge you when you honor God's command in food, or in drink, or in respect of a yearly Sabbath, or of the new moon, or of the weekly sabbath, but the assembly of God's true believers, the body of Christ. I'm trying to get to the calender but I'm starting at the beginning. I just want to thank you again Sir for the tactful, insightful way you are presenting material on your website. I've only just begun memorizing verses....I started with the seven places in the Bible that give the 1260 days and have added to them from there. No one has ever asked me but I prepare anyway. I'm amazed when I see someone string verses together on such a variety of gospel points to make them so clear like it says in Isaiah 28:10. I feel so bad I can't send you a donation right now. My wife lost her job. I work two jobs. We're going to loose our home. I don't even pay my tithes. I take $100 out of each paycheck and send it to a woman in Kenya that is taking care of children who don't have a mother, father, clothing, or food. That's all I can manage. I hope one day I can convince my family to live as paupers and use every penny to support the Lord's kingdom and work such as your website. I hate to see men such as yourself flailing around in rags on the edge of your church and society when in fact in my eyes men like yourself are greater than David, throwing the Rock of Christ's character, developed in themselves at none other than Lucifer himself, winning victories for Jesus.
