Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 22nd day of the 8th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6015 Anno Mundi.

It is 20 weeks and 1 day until the new year begins with the Spring Sabbaths. Unleavened Bread Sabbath begins the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Sabbath, April 7th on the 2012 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Friday, April 6th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with what my research, and many others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

There is an interesting Hebrew word (H4150) which is transliterated MUOD (singular) and MUODIM (plural). I am using the IAUA transliteration with Hebrew vowels. Consider carefully how the word is used in the following verses. I believe a more accurate translation, taken from Strong's Hebrew Dictionary, is "appointed time(s)". Notice how this alternate translation changes the meaning of these verses.

God's "appointed times" were defined for the earth at creation and have existed since at least creation.

14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons [MUODIM or "appointed times"], and for days, and years:
Genesis 1:14

It was the tabernacle of meeting for the "appointed times" of IAUA.

7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation [MUOD or "appointed time"]. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation [MUOD or "appointed time"], which was without the camp.
Exodus 33:7

All the Sabbaths, weekly and yearly, are His "appointed times".

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts [MUODI or "appointed time"] of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts [MUODI or "appointed time"].
3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
4 These are the feasts [MUODI or "appointed time"] of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons [MUODM or "appointed times"].
Leviticus 23:1-4

I believe the following verse indicates the "appointed times" existed in Heaven and were the basis of the apostasy of Satan. Satan lusts for the worship given to God on His "appointed times" in His appointed place. All the angels gathered for a special ceremony to worship God at His "appointed time". Satan wants to be on God's mountain in God's place and receive all worship and adoration.

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation [MUOD or "appointed time"], in the sides of the north:
Isaiah 14:13

The "sides of the north" are God's dwelling.

2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
Psalms 48:2

It is no wonder God's "appointed times" are the special subject of Satan's delusions and counterfeits. The final battle is symbolically over the mountain (AR) of MUODIM according to some views as described in the SDA Bible Commentary.

2 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Revelation 16:16

Excerpt from the SDA BC:

Place ... According to the second view, which stresses the figurative meaning of the various expressions of vs. 12–16, this would be the “condition,” or frame of mind, into which the kings of the earth are gathered—the compact to annihilate the people of God (see on chs. 16:14; 17:13).

Armageddon ... The reading Harmageddon is from two Hebrew words, the first of which may have been Õir, “city,” though more probably har, “mountain.”

For the second part of the name, mageddon, ... is from mo'ed, the Hebrew word commonly used throughout the OT for “congregation” (Ex. 27:21; 28:43; 29:4, 10, 11, 30, 32; etc.), for an appointed “feast” (see on Lev. 23:2), and for an “assembly” and the “places of the assembly” (Lam. 1:15; 2:6)... suggests a possible connection with the great controversy between Christ and Satan.

In Isa. 14:13, where har-mo'ed is translated “mount of the congregation,” or “mount of assembly,” and designates the mountain on which Solomon’s Temple stood, to the north of ancient Jerusalem, Lucifer is represented as aspiring to replace God as Israel’s sovereign ruler. Compare “Tabernacle of the congregation” (Ex. 33:7; etc.).

An illustration, parable, analogy, or vision.

I am climbing up the narrow path to the top of Mount Muodim.

I turn to look with concern on the multitudes below. Most are milling about on the plain of Sodom and Gomorrah but many are turned in worship to the seven mountains of Babylon. Maybe one out of a thousand is poised at the bottom of Mount Muodim considering turning to the worship of the one true God or gathered part of the way up for worship of the weekly MUOD.

As I climb past this camp, I am encouraging some to climb higher. They tell me that they had climbed so far already and they did not believe God calls them to climb up any higher. Many were still glancing back on occasion with worshipful gazes at the seven mountains of Babylon. Maybe one out of a hundred is poised at the upper reaches of the camp considering reaching higher or gathered at a higher part of the mountain for the worship of the yearly MUOD.

As I climb past this higher camp, I am encouraging some to climb even higher. Many say they had climbed so close to the top already and they did not believe God calls them to climb up any higher. Some are willing to press up a little higher.

I look up at the peak of Mount Muodim, which is shrouded by dark ominous clouds. A storm is certainly brewing and threatening to thunder down from the top of the mountain. I am concerned for all those who hesitate to climb higher. I wonder whether they are willing to completely trust in God. Are they willing to follow God completely and forsake the traditions of men?

The resolve of some will strengthen and they will climb higher against powerful adversity. They will wish they had made more of the climb while they had time, before conditions became so bad. Others will lose heart and fall back to the apparent safety of the valley turning to the false God of Babylon and will lose their trust in the God of Mount Muodim.

I continue to press on to the peak of ARMUODIM. Though the situation looks increasingly grim, I know that those who stand firm in the face of the trouble to come will find a special protection given by the God of ARMUODIM.

The darkness of the coming storm begins to envelop me. The temptation to give in to the pressing feelings of isolation and terror is overwhelming. The temporarily bright sunshine and the apparent comfort of the majority in the valley is still visible and inviting. I remind myself that only the blind do not see the storm is growing in force and heading to the valley. The effects of the storm for those in the valley will be far worse than for those on the mountain. The valley will be buried and only those high above will survive.

The calm after the storm for the remnant who survive will be incredibly glorious and we will ascend in joy and happiness all the way to the kingdom of God.

Are you willing to worship God on all His "appointed times" and obey all He has asked us to do?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
