The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 30th day of the 12th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6015 Anno Mundi.

It is 2 weeks and 1 day until the Sacred New Year begins with the first Unleavened Bread yearly Sabbath the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Sabbath, April 7th on the 2012 Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Friday, April 6th). This year the day of the week will be the same as it was in the year IAUShUO was crucified on Golgotha.

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar and the Jewish Calendar agree with the dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

Concluding this topic with some responses from a discussion I began on the LinkedIn website group now called "E-ventists Network" which triggered a lot of responses. So many responses I will present only some of them continuing from the last two weeks.

George Gomoll • If you have the E.G. White CD do a search for statutes, laws and commands. You will have more than enough to study for yourself. If you can find information on the pre-session to the 1888 General Conference session you will also be surprised that the controversy was not over the law in Galatians, but over the Feasts and whether to keep them.

Frank T. Clark • George: Right you are. You are apparently well studied in this area. EGW materials are available on the web also (http://www.whiteestate.org/) though I find it a little more awkward to use compared to the CD. They keep changing the website. I have discovered they no longer support IE. I think this is a bad move. I have used the text only version from time to time.

May I also recommend the document "Exposing the Skeleton in the SDA Closet of 1888: Unsealing the Mystery of the 1888 General Conference Meetings in Minneapolis" which can be found at http://www.normanbradley.info/ and other places as a good study on the 1888 topic. We are getting even deeper into highly controversial areas now... :-)

Chin-Lee Chan • How to have "a living knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ" {RH, June 3, 1890 par. 3}?

Frank T. Clark • Chin-Lee: I am not sure if I quite understand your question. I suggest we gain a "living knowledge" by actually living the life He did. In some ways many of us think we are living the life He did but I submit that due to our lack of understanding and accepting of all the Law given to Moses we fall shockingly short of truly living the life He did.

Obviously there are aspects of humility and other character traits which are a part of this lifestyle. However, there is much more.

Remember this, our Saviour lived the life of an Israelite following the Law He gave to Moses to direct the life of an Israelite. Let me give a "specific" example. We are rightfully, dare I say, proud of our weekly observance of the Sabbath and the enormous impact it has on our lives. At the risk of being dismissed as a kook let me state this truth. Following the observance of the yearly Sabbaths, as our Saviour did, will also have an additional profound impact. There are many other specific lifestyle specifications I could describe, as a student of the Law given to Moses, which will have a similar impact.

As long as we refuse to submit in humility to God's "religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life", because our pride and tradition denies the truth, we can not have "a living knowledge". This is a simple individual choice, led by corporate Adventism, which impacts the state of corporate Adventism. I have quoted these profound words of guidance directly from the mouth of God before and I will quote them again.

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the Law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Reject, refuse, and deny all you want but this is the Word of God. I stand with Joshua.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

I stand with Elijah.

I Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

Where do you claim to stand?

Isaiah 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Where do you stand concerning new light on old truths?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
