Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 2nd day of the 4th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi.

The fall holy day season begins with Trumpets Sabbath in 12 weeks and three days starting the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Monday, September 17th on the 2012, Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 16th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) and the Jewish Calendar agree with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

An interesting discussion appeared on the very active E-ventist Network on the LinkedIn.com website.

Inspirational Message from Leo Schreven called "Blessed above all people"

Allow God to expand your vision through this inspiring video message by Leo Schreven. There are other videos on this website. Let's discuss them here.

New website for Allpowerministry.com

"If you listen to these commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today, and if you carefully obey them, the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you will always be on top and never at the bottom."...

Frank T. Clark • Another voice for positive thinking and the prosperity gospel. It is interesting the quote you mention and which appears on the website (from the KJV):

Deuteronomy 28:13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

is from the Law of Moses, is about the Law of Moses, and is about obedience to the Law of Moses, which is ALL of God's Law. However, Leo Schreven preaches emphatically and often the Law of Moses is nailed to the cross. This is a curious contradiction. I shall say no more.

A day later I added:

Frank T. Clark • My conscience is bothering me so I must confess. I want to be fair. I have heard Leo Schreven speak many times before, but I did not listen very long to this presentation before I was overcome with a sick syrupy feeling in my stomach from hearing smooth things:

Isa 30:9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD:
Isa 30:10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

I was reminded of the words of Paul:

2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
2Ti 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

If anyone who takes the time to listen to the entire set of presentations can point me to a section of his presentation which emphasizes, not just rushes past, God's blessings primarily come to those who obey as the verse states, I will recant part of my words. Furthermore, if any one can point to a section where he supports what the Bible says:

Mal 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

With the same emphasis as this verse:

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

I will recant completely and I will delete my previous comment. Then I will write a glowing comment of praise for his solid Biblical teaching.

Prosperity is promised to those who obey but there has been a change in the landscape:

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Our Saviour warned us:

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

True prosperity will not come on this earth. It will surely come.

Hab 2:3 For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it declareth of the end, and doth not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay. (JPS)

There was much more discussion but I will leave it at this. I also began another discussion:

Does a prosperity gospel which appeals to our lusts and desires lead us to a relationship of sacrificial submission to our God following the example of our Saviour?

Joel Osteen has become very popular and well received with this approach. He is not leading people to greater truth. Is it appropriate for an Adventist pastor to attempt this approach?

After 26 days there are still no comments. Isn't that interesting?

You can be very popular telling people how God is going to bless them. You will be extra popular, when you overlook the requirements of obedience. The truth is God gives eternal blessings to those who obey His Word.

Are you looking for prosperity on this earth?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
