(ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 9th day of the 4th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi. The fall holy day season begins with Trumpets Sabbath in 11 weeks and three days starting the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Monday, September 17th on the 2012, Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 16th). An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) and the Jewish Calendar agree with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!
God in His authority has specified times and laws. The beast in boasting of his own authority has thought that he is able to change God's times and laws. 25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Most people only focus on Sunday and Sunday Laws as the "Mark of the Beast". 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,Some have begun to take notice of the many plans being proposed for various types of a Sunday Law. I have only included one of my comments. Frank T. Clark • I have read the many comments with interest. The question may seem simple but because it is general there are a lot of possible answers. The "Sabbath to Sunday" book covers many different parts of the answer. It is a very scholarly book so it is very hard reading for us simple folk. Your question, "Where did the idea of Sunday being the Sabbath come from?" Appears to be answered to your satisfaction as the question, "Who changed the Sabbath to Sunday?" The answer is, the RCC changed it. However, there are other related questions and answers such as where, when and why. Your original question sounded more to me like "Why did the idea of Sunday being the Sabbath happen?" This is a very interesting question, which is also answered by the book. There is a long detailed answer and there is the short answer. Mario didn't want to shortcut the long detailed answer because it is very interesting. My summary of the answer is, anti-Semitism caused the leadership of the church to shift the basis of the church away from anything similar to Judaism. As the church became more popular and the leadership sought to make the church more popular, the church sought to separate itself from anything "Jewish" because the Jews were hated by the Romans because of their constant rebellions and refusal to accept allegiance to the Roman Empire. There are many more details about what happened and what I have found fascinating is the many small changes that happened leading up to the shifting of weekly observance and afterward. There were many other changes beside the weekly Sabbath. Note that Daniel 7:25 says "think to change times and laws". Two different things are changed and each is plural. Think about that. The weekly Sabbath is only the tip of an iceberg.
I believe Satan has us distracted by seeing the "Mark of the Beast" as simply a Sunday question. There are other "times", which were changed. There are other "laws", which were changed. The errors of Babylon are many. The small voice of the second angel warns us of the sins of Babylon. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.The implication is that we need to recognize and leave the sins of Babylon behind. The restoration of the weekly Sabbath was a big step but there is more. The artificial and hypocritical limit of God's Law to only the Ten Commandments is blasphemy. A great reformation and revival is needed. God says: 4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.The message will be repeated and louder. 1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.There are changes to more "times" and more "laws", which need to recognized and abandoned. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.A restoration of all things is coming. 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Are you studying and learning what it means to "come out of Babylon"? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
