Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father, Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 6th day of the 6th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi. The fall holy day season begins with Trumpets Sabbath in 3 weeks and three days starting the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Monday, September 17th on the 2012, Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 16th). An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) and the Jewish Calendar agree with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar! It has come to my attention the Karaite Calendar determination has placed The Fall Sabbaths a day later than others. This is probably because they use predicted visual sighting rules which can be very arbitrary. I have expressed a concern in many past newsletters about the unity of the church. I have expressed concerns about identifying all truth. In the 2012-05-18 newsletter Disagreement I expressed concerns about disagreement. How do we agree to disagree? How do we show love and unity in the church when there are major disagreements over truth? This subject reached an intense peak recently in a conversation between my son and me. He was feeling a great deal of stress because we have a fundamental disagreement over the applicability of practicing the Law of Moses. I did not immediately understand the reason why he was distressed. It was finally resolved that there were at least two things bothering him. The first was being troubled that two students of the Bible disagree on what is truth. The second was that he felt I was pressuring him into seeing my point of view. You can see how this directly relates to the two questions posed earlier. I explained to him that I had long ago accepted the fact that we disagree. Instead of avoiding the subject of the disagreement completely, it was my intent that we could freely discuss related issues in a spirit of sharing and inquiry rather than one person trying to convince the other of a particular viewpoint. I am increasingly coming to realize that God has a big heart, which embraces all His children even though they have widely divergent ideas about what is truth. God is very patient with his children and gives them the time and space for them to grow. Some will never reach a truth that others believe but each is true to their best understanding. In time the Holy Spirit will lead us all to truth. None of us have all the truth. Some may never reach all the truth before their time on earth is over. God knows each heart and He will save those who believe in Him and followed the truth as far as He led them. God knows His own and we do not. We can never judge and we should never try. My sons concern was that we both can't be right. This is true. The time will come when all will agree on the truth. That time is not now. We will continue to study the plan of salvation throughout eternity so it is no surprise there will be some things we will never see clearly here on earth. I believe we will come to agreement on major points but it will probably be only a short time before the end of time. We are in the time of the end but we are not at the end of time yet. I believe the end of time begins with the Time of Trouble. The beginning of this event is given a clear description. 1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. Revelation 7:1-4 I believe the sealing occurs at a Pentecost fulfillment as it did for the apostles. 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Acts 2:1-3 I believe Revelation tells us very clearly the Time of Trouble is held until this event.
