Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 17th day of the 8th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi.

The first yearly Sabbath of Unleavened Bread begins the Sacred New Year and the Spring Holy Day season in 20 weeks and 5 days on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Wednesday, March 27th on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Tuesday, March 26th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) will be observing the Spring Holy Days a month later and the Jewish Calculated Rabbinical Calendar begins a day early in spring.

I received an encouraging email response to the previous newsletter from a new newsletter reader who is also a member of the LinkedIn discussion groups:

Dear Frank

Good counsel! We need to be careful we are not condemning the beliefs of others, but we need to point to the truth that is revealed by our Lord. God's true people will be sighing and crying for the abominations done in the church, but they will be praying for the truth to penetrate, and that those involved will turn back from the course they seem to be on. We pray for God to intervene through His Holy Spirit, but we cannot overlook deviation from God's truth and ignore it, or we will fail to be watchmen on the walls of Zion.

May our Lord help us all to have the true balance.

I responded:

Thank you for the appreciation and the confirming words of our responsibility before God.

I have observed many extremes of how people handle their responsibility for sharing God's Word with others. I have also observed many extremes of how people interpret the understanding of God's Word. I make this observation in the 2005-02-11 newsletter:

Satan has two special temptations for us in these last days. Satan loves to get people to go to extremes which do not follow the middle of the road course that our Saviour has set before us.

History and personal experience have shown over and over that if Satan cannot get you to go in the ditch on one side while travelling the road of life, he will try to push you in the ditch on the opposite side. Conservative or liberal does not matter. Following the Messiah is a moderate course that fits between all man's labels.

I make the following similar observation in the chapter The Sacred Holy Name of God in the introductory book which is repeated in the Introduction to the book Sacred Name IAUA.

Satan's primary method of deception is to hide, bury and discredit the truth. When that attack is unsuccessful, Satan will take the opposite approach in his deceptions.

The opposite approach is to take a truth and emphasize it to a disproportionate amount and adding peripheral non-issues. This will also hide, bury, and discredit the truth. Satan does not care whether you go into the ditch on the left hand or the right hand side of the road. Only a straight middle course will follow the example of the Messiah.

The guidance given by our Saviour is clear.

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:13-14
I find the idea of avoiding extremes to be a helpful "rule of thumb" whenever confronted by unresearched ideas in beginning to determine the truth. The way this works is to visualize the primary principles of an idea or concept. How does this compare to other established principles? Then visualize the results of adopting an idea and how it will affect other established principles. Visualize an extreme emphasis of the idea. Visualize an extreme denial of the idea. Where is the moderate position between the two extremes? In this process, you must always remember the first guiding principle from the Bible.
20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Isaiah 8:20
You may find my use of the word 'visualize' confusing. This is going to be part of my ongoing development of a presentation explaining my use of the scientific method of Bible study.

First let us consider the dictionary definition: to recall or form mental images or pictures. One way to form mental pictures of Biblical principles is to imagine a discussion about the issues. What would you say? What might others say? Even better, what about a discussion with God on the issues! What would God say? This is similar to a prayer where you talk to God and Listen to what He says to you.

Now, you must understand that there is the potential of a severe flaw in this process. You cannot know what God would say, if you do not know His word. When you study His word deeply and intensely, you can say as the Psalm writer did:

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Do not overlook the implication you will accept what God says and obey. Our Saviour said explicitly:
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
John 3:21
If you have excuses about why you do not follow all the Law of Moses then the power of the Holy Spirit to help you in this process will be thwarted.
13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come.
John 16:13 (FTCABE)
When you study deeply into the Word of God you will fill your mind with His truth. This will give you the concepts you need to converse with God or visualize a conversation with others. This process will clarify your mind on the big question of life.

What is truth?

10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Psalms 25:10
We can even ask Who is truth?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 14:6
He prayed to our Father requesting Him to sanctify us through truth. Don't you think He will answer that prayer?
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 17:17
He declared and promised us:
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:32

Are you avoiding extremes in your life and your actions?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
