Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 17th day of the 10th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Holy Day season begins the New Year in about four months with Passover on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 15th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 14th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is the same in the spring this year.

Another interesting discussion from LinkedIn.

Time Magazine's Person of the Year for 2013 announced on Dec. 11th

Article in FOX News about Time Magazine's selection of Person of the Year. Pope Francis.

Pope Francis' common touch, uncommon influence - foxnews.com

"Pope Francis' selection this week as Time Magazine’s Person of the Year is only the latest evidence that Jorge Mario Bergoglio has immutably impacted the Church in a startlingly short nine months."

What do you think?

• Robert Stankovic Minister of Religion/Church Pastor at Seventh-day Adventist Church (SPD) Limited

Pathetic... Should've been Nelson Mandela!!!

• F. Pietravalle Director of Research at Redpages

Robert, this is a Man of the Year award. They recognize a person for what he did this year. What did Nelson Mandella do this year, I must have missed it?

Rev 13:3 ... and all the world wondered after the beast.

• Merlin Starr Director of Spiritual Care at Adventist Health System

I think this is interesting considering that the Pope is against almost everything the Time Magazine people espouse and promote. We may disagree with his theology, but he is seeking to uplift Christ, he is opposed to gay marriage, homosexuality, abortion, manditory birth control coverage for heathcare insurers, and many other politically correct things. Strange things are happening.

It's an interesting time to be alive.

"Strange things are happening. It's an interesting time to be alive."

An incredibly powerful statement of particular significance to those who know their Bible well because we are seeing the final prophecies fulfilled before our eyes and we know therefore that the Second Coming is near.

• Fred Settle Choral Director/Minister of Music at Greater Los Angeles Area

Amen, Frank!

• Pastor Walter Mock First Baptist Church St. Paris, Ohio

Pope Francis is a people's pope and Mr. Pietravalle is correct. Is the choice pathetic Robert because the pope is Catholic? I'm glad God doesn't look at us denominationally or any other way except we are God's children.

• Mario Petrovalle Founder at E-ventist Network ( LINKEDin group )

Merlin, this Pope may take positions against what Time Magazine promotes except you forget that Time Magazine is a business and selecting Pope Francis may cause millions of Catholics to buy the magazine and many to buy it as a collectible thinking that it will increase in value.

Are you aware how much Life Magazines from 50 years ago are worth and the person on the cover determines the value more that any story inside (usually, not always).

A member of the discussion sent me a private email:

What do you mean by this Scripture Frank in reference to the pope being named man of the year? Walter

I responded:

The pope represents the Catholic Church and the CC is the beast. Being named the Man of the Year represents the attention and wonder of the world. Understand?

They wrote:

I agree with you Frank but do not see the connection with the Pope being named man of the year. Please explain. Walter

I responded:

This is an "adoration" by the "world" of the Pope/CC. The Pope is being looked up to and admired. On the surface this is perfectly valid because he is doing some admirable things. However, the deep student of the Bible knows where this is all heading. The pattern of future events has been drummed into the Adventist mindset for generations. New Adventists are less deeply ingrained. I am deeply educated (indoctrinated?) in this subject as a lifetime fifth-generation Adventist. Have you read the book "Great Controversy"? It is a great source of information on prophetic interpretation. It can be read online:

http://www.whiteestate.org/books/gc/gc.asp

Warning! This is a heavy read of about 700 pages but it is priceless. It will change your life.

Mentioning the Great Controversy online inspired me to read some of it. I finished over 200 pages before I stopped. Some significant quotes jumped out at me related to my current studies and I will discuss them in an upcoming newsletter.

Strange things are happening in the world.

Are you studying the Bible carefully to be prepared for end time events?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
