Dear Brothers and Sisters in
IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,
Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 4th day of the 1st month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi. The Spring Holy Day season begins the New Year in 1 week and 4 days with Passover on the evening of the 15th day of the 1st month (Tuesday, April 15th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Monday, April 14th). The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is the same in the spring this year but one day early in the fall.
I participate sometimes in a Messianic Jewish forum. I notice two general types of people. The long term participants who are probably of Jewish background tend to be quiet, reserved, and traditional. The newer participants who usually came from non-Jewish backgrounds tend to be more vocal, questioning, and a bit confused from my perspective. This is one of the more confusing ideas shared. Post by moriahruth7 I believe I have a spirit visitor, or my term, a spook in my apartment. An hour ago I was in the kitchen washing dishes and I heard this thump, like a big heavy book had fallen onto the floor in the computer room. My first thought was that my cat was exploring. So I went to check and the cat was sitting in the living room on the trunk that was by the window. So I check the computer room. There was a big binder that had fallen unto the floor. I thought it was odd but I went back to the kitchen to continue washing the dishes. A half hour later I heard something fall again in the computer room. That time my cat was outside as I had let him out. So I go and check to see what it was that had fallen. My husband had this piece of drift wood that he had gotten from the beach. It was sitting on the shelf. It was the item that had fallen unto the floor. Again I though this odd. So I out loud said, "Stop playing with things in the this room. Get lost in Jesus's name." Nothing has happened since. However this morning I had gotten up at 7:00 am. I was on my way to the washroom. As I was going to the washroom I had seen this flash of light or something white flash by. My thought was, "Did I see that or is it because I just woke up and my mind has not fully awakened yet?" So I forgot about and went to do my thing. Yet during the beginning of the week I had seen and heard some things that I thought was a bit off. But of course I think it was just me. Tuesday morning I had gotten up at 6:00 am. I was sitting in my little sitting area in the kitchen. There was no light on. I was just sitting there waking up. As I was sitting there I saw this small shadow go by the shelf and out the patio window. Again it was just a flash and again I thought it was just me. Then on Tuesday night I was getting supper ready for my husband. As I was preparing I heard this clicking noise on the floor as if there was a cat walking across the floor. Of course I thought that it was my cat. So I am talking to my cat doing the kitty talk. I turned around to look at him and he was no where in the kitchen. So I check the living room and he is still sitting by the window on the trunk. I thought to myself, "What on earth was that, that I just heard?" Again I thought I must have heard wrong and continued making supper. But in one week this is happening. Am I losing it or is there some spirit visitor? If someone states that I am losing it please put me out of my misery. However in the area that I live there is witchcraft and a witches coven. Whenever I am at the store working, which is most weekends I see witches come in all the time. Majority of them do not come near me because they see Jesus in me or something. I find it interesting when they come in. Because they will be going down an aisle and when they come to me they stop turn around and go back down the aisle and they avoid me like the plague. One that comes in will not make eye contact with me at all. There are two witches that come in together and they glare at me from a distance. One time I was doing a demo at the store and I was walking around with the samples. And I happened to come to the produce section and give a lady a sample. I happened to look up and from across the floor there is this witch just glaring at me. I smiled and continued on my way. She stayed far away from me. But I am used to that and it doesn't bother me. I am just on my guard when they are around. As for the spirit visitors in my home, do they really have to be there? They are very annoying. I must go on my way, as I am working today. Yes on the Sabbath no less. I will be back later in the evening. Moriah Ruth It is not about us, it is about a Holy God and Yeshua.
Post by Frank T. Clark This sounds like an extension of the discussion about spirits. I despair when I see people struggling with belief in disembodied spirits. The word spirit can be very confusing so I stick to dictionary definitions:
1. the principle of conscious life; the vital principle in humans, animating the body or mediating between body and soul. I will try to keep this brief. I have no particular problem with the first definition. As I stated in the other discussion, I believe the Bible teaches body + sprit(breath) = soul. Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. There is no consciousness or personality to the general spirit (not to be confused with the Holy Spirit, which is part of the Godhead), which animates all created things. The later definitions become increasingly Satan inspired. He was a liar from the very start when he said: Gen 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: Satan created the concept of an "incorporeal being" to perpetuate his lie, to deceive, mislead, and confuse people. Stick to God's Word! Now, the possible explanation for what you are observing is an attempt by evil angels with bodies we cannot see attempting to "deceive, mislead, and confuse" you. Trust in God's Word!
Jas 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. There is no such thing as spirits, spooks, or ghosts. It is only the evil angels, for holy angels would never "deceive, mislead, and confuse" you. When the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. John 16:13 (FTCABE)
Does Satan sometimes deceive, mislead, and confuse you? I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
