Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 29th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6018 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin in 13 weeks with Trumpets on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Friday, September 29th on the 2014, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Thursday, September 29th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research and others have identified for determining the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is one day early in the fall.

A LinkedIn discussion was started by Pastor Randy Brehms on the E-ventists group about the Mark of the Beast. They were just in line with my thoughts about the subject. It is no surprise because this is a Seventh-day pastor who believes and practices the Law of Moses. These are excerpts edited for focus and brevity.

Is Sunday the only Mark of the Beast ?

I find it Ironic that we have separated "The Decalogue" from Torah, and totally obliterated the connection utilizing Col 2:14 - 17 in a totally different way than it was intended. We use it like the Non-Adventists, but they use it to destroy the Sabbath. We use it to save the Sabbath and destroy the other Holy days. A deep word study of the Greek word for Sabbath might be in order since the word "days" is supplied.

Also as Adventists we love Malachi 4 because it is speaking to the last days. It also suggests that hell stops burning in verse 3. Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. However we don't much like verse four so we just hop over it because it suggests at the end of time we will be Torah observant: Mal 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb (that's Mt. Sinai for those who are wondering) for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. In fact if you read the chapter in context you see that this Law of Moses with its statutes and judgments is "The Elijah Message".

What do you think?

To answer the question" what do you think" I think you're saying anyone who worships on any other day but Saturday is "going to hell in a hand basket" and if this is true then you are self-righteous and I want out of this group. Do you really think which day.is more important thsn that we love the Lord? If I have not chaity and love does does not flow from me then I am nothing. Please don't forget to read the new testament. Thank you,

Hmmm, I believe that probably we could all agree that Sunday-keeping or Saturday-keeping or the Keeping of all the ancient holy days and sabbaths and new moons is NOT what will decide our Salvation is Jesus Christ at this particular time. The "framing" of the original question makes me believe that the author of this particular discussion has a personal belief that we should NOW be keeping ALL that seasonal holy days, new moons and sabbaths of Ancient Israel prior to the death of Christ on the Cross of Calvary. MORE than that, the questioner seems to be "leading" the discussion towards a DEMAND from God that we CONTINUE to keep all those "holy days" NOW and probably points to "non-keeping" as a part of the "Mark of the Beast" of Revelation! I find that to be a bit of a "stretch" for the modern Christian and even MORE for the modern SDA, who has the SoP for further enlightenment, not to mention the leadership of the White Estate, BRI, GC and the local Church administration (fallible though they be). There is NOTHING in the SDA Church Manual of Beliefs which upholds this particular interpretation, which, by the way, brings us BACK under the old Mosaic Laws (and YES, I DO believe that we will celebrate SOME of these days in the NEW Earth after the 2nd Coming, but leave it to God to point out exactly which and how).

On the part of the "Mark of the Beast": It has TWO aspects, 1. Thinking; 2. Doing = Thinking as does the Beast; Doing as does the Beast = the Beast's Character of Hate and Selfishness will be PERFECTLY reproduced in those following him, just as God's Character of Love and Un-selfishness will be PERFECTLY reproduced in those surrendered to the Power of God's Holy Spirit to do in them as He did in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Hi everyone, the reference that he made to Malachi 4:4 is an open question, please check, he is not making a statement as it seems but a long drawn out question. Malachi is in the Old Testament and we know the theme of the Old Testament points to Christ, the redeemer. Malachi 4:4 is pointing us to the New Testament, a new era, stating it is just around the corner that in a short while the Saviour of the world will be born and an end to the sacrificial lamb is at hand...prepare to meet thy Saviour and the change to your life; a new life with the Saviour, the Lamb of God.

Icw with the mark; There is one Sabbath day and one 1st day of the week. Although there is much data in both to study, there is only one mark of the beast by satan and one mark in forehead by God. God bless

Marks are marks because they bring difference between two parties, the mark of God gives identity of his people and the mark of the beast gives identity of the beast's people; the issue is obedience you give to who said Sunday is the Sabbath and who said Saturday is Sabbath. Once this is settled then you know where you give your allegiance. Also clearly the Bible takes indeed the Sabbath as God's sign between his people he set apart. Know also that Old Testament and New Testament are not in conflict. O.T is the N.T concealed and the N.T is the O.T revealed, they all talk of the same Jesus Christ.

Jennifer, I believe your comment is inflammatory because I see nothing in the discussion opening to justify your statement.

"I think you're saying anyone who worships on any other day but Saturday is "going to hell in a hand basket" and if this is true then you are self-righteous and I want out of this group."

You have created a "straw man fallacy". Of course it is more important to love the Lord. This should be clearly understood by anyone in this group. However, the topic of this discussion and most discussions in this group is based on this core idea. Now that we love our Savior what do we do about it? Our Savior said:

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Any honest Christian should understand this truth, if they have read ALL the New Testament.

I agree with the proposition of the discussion. Malachi 4:4 cannot be separated from Malachi 4:5. Therefore, the Law of Moses is the basis of "The Elijah Message". Because of the end time context, I also believe it is part of the Mark of the Beast. Furthermore, I do not depend on "the leadership of the White Estate, BRI, GC and the local Church administration" to interpret for me what the Bible plainly says.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. (FTCABE)

This exact topic has also been under discussion in the Three Angels Message subgroup.

The discussion continues with great detail.

Is the Mark of the Beast only about Sunday?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
