Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 21st day of the 8th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6018 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in 5 months with the first Sabbath of Unleavened Bread, the 15th day of the 1st month (Sunday, April 5th on the 2015, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Saturday, April 4th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates for determining the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is one day early.

An email from a newsletter reader that I have had extensive discussion with. There was underlining and bold highlights, which can only be seen on the website. I choose to keep the email version of the newsletter in plain text.

Trying to make sense of these, in light of our discussions?

Paul response to this?

Galatians 4:9-11, "But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years. I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain."

Ellen Whites comments on the subject:

The interviews between Jesus and his disciples were usually seasons of calm joy, highly prized by all of them. The passover suppers had been scenes of special interest; but upon this occasion Jesus was troubled in spirit, and his disciples sympathized with his grief although they knew not its cause. This was virtually the last passover that was ever to be celebrated; for type was to meet antitype in the slaying of the Lamb of God for the sins of the world. Christ was soon to receive his full baptism of suffering; but the few quiet hours between him and Gethsemane were to be spent for the benefit of his disciples." {3SP 83.3}

In this ordinance, (The Last Supper) Christ discharged His disciples from the cares and burdens of the ancient Jewish obligations in rites and ceremonies. These no longer possessed any virtue; for type was meeting antitype in Himself, the authority and foundation of all Jewish ordinances that pointed to Him as the great and only efficacious offering for the sins of the world. He gave this simple ordinance that it might be a special season when He Himself would always be present, to lead all participating in it to feel the pulse of their own conscience, to awaken them to an understanding of the lessons symbolized, to revive their memory, to convict of sin, and to receive their penitential repentance. He would teach them that brother is not to exalt himself above brother, that the dangers of disunion and strife shall be seen and appreciated; for the health and holy activity of the soul are involved. {5BC 1139.5}

This ordinance does not speak so largely to man's intellectual capacity as to his heart. His moral and spiritual nature needs it. If His disciples had not needed this, it would not have been left for them as Christ's last established ordinance in connection with, and including, the last supper. It was Christ's desire to leave to His disciples an ordinance that would do for them the very thing they needed--that would serve to disentangle them from the rites and ceremonies which they had hitherto engaged in as essential, and which the reception of the gospel made no longer of any force. To continue these rites would be an insult to Jehovah. Eating of the body, and drinking of the blood, of Christ, not merely at the sacramental service, but daily partaking of the bread of life to satisfy the soul's hunger, would be in receiving His Word and doing His will (RH June 14, 1898). {5BC 1139.6}

Bible

•1 Corinthians 5:7-8, "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

•Act 6:14 "For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us."

God Bless

I responded:

Some more cardboard bricks in the fortress wall of rejection of God's truth. Look at the whole context:

Gal 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
Gal 4:9 But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Gal 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
Gal 4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.

These are Paul's words to converts from paganism. "Turn ye again" means they were returning to paganism not Judaism. Paul would never call the things of God "weak and beggarly". The words "days, and months, and times, and years" refer to pagan things, not the things of God.

Ellen White said: "This was virtually the last passover that was ever to be celebrated; for type was to meet antitype in the slaying of the Lamb of God for the sins of the world."

All animal sacrifices ended at the cross. I have stated this repeatedly. Passover is a statute of eating a sacrificial lamb. It isn't even a yearly Sabbath. Every word EGW said makes sense when you understand she is referring to sacrifices. A person must be led by the Holy Spirit to reconcile all her words and not pick and choose the ones that you think say what you want them to say. She also said:

"In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern the everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon man in every age as long as time should last. These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly and definitely explained that law." {RH, May 6, 1875 par. 10} {1BC 1104.6} {ST April 15, 1875} Ellen G. White, "The Law of God", Review and Herald, May 6, 1875

1 Corinthians 5:7-8, "Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

Yes! Let us keep the feast without the old leaven of sacrifices.

Act 6:14 "For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us."

Really!? This is a false accusation against Paul. Paul said:

Acts 24:14 But this I admit to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect I do serve the God of our fathers, believing EVERYTHING that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets;

Acts 25:8 while Paul said in his own defense, “I have committed NO offense either against the Law of the Jews or against the temple or against Caesar.”

Acts 28:17 After three days Paul called together those who were the leading men of the Jews, and when they came together, he began saying to them, “Brethren, though I had done NOTHING against our people or the customs of our fathers, yet I was delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans.

There are a lot of words that are easily twisted by those who refuse to obey God's Law. God said:

Malachi 4:4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Some other times when God said "Remember".

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Num 15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: Num 15:40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.

We have discussed these things repeatedly. Sometimes it sounds like you simply wish to believe what the denomination teaches and do not wish to accept what the Bible says. Perhaps you simply do not understand? Perhaps I should cease to trouble you with these matters? I know it will take a lot of study to see through to all the truth. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you.

Be at peace,

Satan uses those who have not come fully out of the Babylon Catholic apostasy of the Dark Ages to create a fortress wall guarding false truth composed of a large number of bricks of Biblical "truth" and "facts". Close and careful examination of these bricks discloses that they are made of cardboard and painted to look like solid bricks held together with a mortar of fallacy. The illumination of the Holy Spirit leads the diligent seeker of truth to recognize that the whole thing crashes when pushed. This problem is very prominent in Protestantism and vestiges remain even in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination.

Are you fooled by the imposing look of a brick wall made with cardboard bricks?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
