Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 17th day of the 12th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6019 Anno Mundi.

The Spring Sabbaths begin in three weeks and six days with the first yearly Sabbath of Unleavened Bread, God's New Year's Day, on the 15th day of the 1st month (Thursday, March 24th of the 2016, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Wednesday, March 23rd).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction and the Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month later next year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is also a month later.

Dear Frank

I am very sorry to hear about the physical battles you have been going through. The Lord must have a reason for this even if we do not know what it is at present. I was wondering why you have not been sending out your regular news letters. If our lives are fully in His hands, He will take care of us.

I have been led to study more deeply the law of God. This came about because I met a person who is setting up the new East Asia Bible Institute in Malaysia and he sent me what he had written about the law of God. I rejected nearly all of it and responded with 7 pages about what I perceived as its errors with the Bible and one or two direct Spirit of Prophecy quotations. Then I have now found out that this has been the long-term teaching of our church!!! I even have a copy of it myself from 1975.

The church has been teaching that there are basically only 2 kinds of law. The moral law of 10 Commandments and the ceremonial law that was done away with at the cross. This is the reason for the potluck approach to some of the First Testament laws. We think we should discriminate between clean and unclean animals for food but we dont promote the refraining of eating any kind of blood, which God says from Genesis 9:4 to Acts 21. We want tithing to support the church based on Malachi 3 but we ignore all else that God says about tithes and offerings. They say the law of Moses was written by Moses in a temporary book while the 10 Commandments were on tables of stone. However they do not understand that the 10 Commandments were in the ark, and the law of Moses was in the side of the ark, also in the Most Holy Place. Ellen White clearly says the law of Moses was given to guard the 10 Commandments and shall last as long as time shall last.

Anyway, I am writing about this, but like you, I dont know how long it will take. Next week I shall be traveling to the General Conference for the Adventist Mission Advisory. I feel like Daniel being put among the lions. Please pray for me. My main burden is that we stop laying plans for 5 years and start laying plans to FINISH God's work.

Again, I ask you to pray for me to protect me from some who I know are my enemies, and that I have the right attitudes and words to make a difference.

May our Lord have mercy on us all.

Dear Robin,

May our Lord have mercy on us all, Indeed! The subject of the Law of Moses has been and is the primary focus of my study and my ministry for the last decade or so. I was shocked when I discovered the proper place of the Law of Moses in our lives. The primary intent of the denomination is to avoid talking about the Law of Moses. Therefore, as a dutiful SDA, I was blissfully ignorant of the subject. My second shock was discovering that when the denomination is confronted with the subject, it teaches the schizophrenic idea that the Law of Moses is nailed to the cross.

Now I understand why Protestants label Seventh-day Adventist theology as contradictory and illogical. You either stand for all truth or go with the status quo of the crowd as Protestants do. Some will stand out a little to attract attention to themselves but not too far to become a pariah. It takes real courage to boldly stand for all truth. Omnis scriptura et sola scriptura!

When you stand for all Bible truth you are a sore thumb to the denomination. You become marginalized. I believe God will finish the work in His own way and His own time and our goal is simply to follow His leading the best we can discern. We exhibit dangerous signs of being proud and boastful to proclaim we will finish the work. Seek His guidance and be willing to follow wherever it leads.

Be at peace,

Frank T. Clark - When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. John 16:13 (FTCABE)

Some interesting quotes on this subject.

"... Today there is danger that, as of old, the Holy Spirit will be rejected because it comes in a way not in accordance with the minds of men. Because it comes, not to praise men, or to build up their erroneous theories, but to reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment to come, many turn away from it. They are not willing to exchange their own righteousness (which is unrighteousness) for the righteousness of Christ, which is pure, unadulterated truth. The Holy Spirit flatters no man, neither does it work according to human devising; and if it comes as a reprover, it is man's place to hear and to obey its voice." {ST, September 27, 1899 par. 6}

"Our observance of the seventh-day [editor: and yearly] Sabbath makes us unpopular, and many false reports are circulated in regard to us as a people. Men who have heard the truth, and been convinced of its claims, have closed their hearts against it, and are filled with hatred of reform and reformers. These men are selfish, and their motives corrupt. They see that should they accept the truth, they would be in danger of losing their position, influence, and authority, and they choose to cling to what they call established authorities. Having rejected the plainest truths of the Bible, they try to influence others to reject them. They are of the class Christ denounced, who would not enter the kingdom of heaven themselves nor suffer others to enter. The masses of the Christian world have not searched the Scriptures, and they are deceived by those whom they have hired to explain the word to them. They are taught the customs and traditions of men, while the law of God is ignored; and the prevailing corruption in our large cities, the depravity that abounds everywhere, and is constantly breaking out in multiplied crimes, testify to the result of making void this holy law." {RH, May 6, 1884 par. 9}

"There is to be in the churches a wonderful manifestation of the power of God, but it will not move upon those who have not humbled themselves before the Lord, and opened the door of the heart by confession and repentance. In the manifestation of that power which lightens the earth with the glory of God, they will see only something which in their blindness they think dangerous, something which will arouse their fears, and they will brace themselves to resist it. Because the Lord does not work according to their ideas and expectations, they will oppose the work. "Why," they say, "should not we know the Spirit of God, when we have been in the work so many years?"--Because they did not respond to the warnings, the entreaties of the messages of God, but persistently said, "I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing." Talent, long experience, will not make men channels of light, unless they place themselves under the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness, and are called, and chosen, and prepared by the endowment of the Holy Spirit. When men who handle sacred things will humble themselves under the mighty hand of God, the Lord will lift them up. He will make them men of discernment--men rich in the grace of his Spirit. Their strong, selfish traits of character, their stubbornness, will be seen in the light shining from the Light of the world. "I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent." If you seek the Lord with all your heart, he will be found of you." {RH, December 23, 1890 par. 18}

Do you follow God whatever He says and wherever He leads?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
