Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 2nd day of the 6th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin in 4 weeks and 1 day on the 1st day of the 7th month (Saturday, September 3rd of the 2016, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Friday, September 2nd).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is also a month late.

In another of my many ponderings, I have considered the depths of the meaning of worship. The pondering is primarily triggered by this verse.

Revelation 14:9 A third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If any man worships the beast and his image, he receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand."

A dictionary describes worship as: reverent honor and homage paid to God or a sacred personage, or to any object regarded as sacred.

Sometimes dictionary definitions are not satisfying answers. How do you recognize or pay "reverent honor and homage"? I kept looking up words but ended up with circular references to the same words. The word "respect" was quite commonly used in these circular references.

Eventually, I concluded that worship/respect is acknowledging and doing what is required by the object of worship/respect. Believing and doing ("in his forehead") or just doing ("in his hand") is the "mark" of worship/respect.

The denomination of the Three Angel's Messages teaches this "mark" is primarily worship on Sunday as the required day of rest. On the surface, I believe this is true. However, I believe there is more to this on a deeper investigation.

Daniel 7:25 He will speak great words against the most High. He will wear out the saints of the most High. He will think to change times and laws. They will be given into his hand for a time and times and the dividing of time.

Now, "times" is clearly plural. Sunday is just one "time". I believe the entire Roman Catholic Gregorian Calendar ("times") is the mark of the beast. Unlike the narrow focus of the denomination of the Three Angel's Messages, God's entire calendar was specified at creation.

Genesis 1:14 God said, 'Let there be lights in the expanse of heaven to separate day and night. Let them be signals for the appointed times, for days, and years.

The vast majority of the world, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, follows only the pagan, Babylonian, Roman Catholic, Gregorian Calendar. Some countries use a religious calendar but the Gregorian Calendar is almost universally accepted as the only civil calendar or is used in parallel with other calendars.

When the control of the Catholic Church tightens, as is noted by many others, it begins with a universally accepted calendar. I spoke of the "other shoe drop" in a previous newsletter, 2010-10-01 titled Hypocrisy. It is hypocritical, misleading, and deceptive to emphasize worship on the weekly Sabbath and deny God's commands to worship on the yearly Sabbaths.

Revelation 18:4 I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her my people. Do not participate in her sins and you will not receive her plagues."

Do not be like Lot's wife, who, even while leaving Sodom was still attached to her familiar life in Sodom. I believe it is clear from the Bible that the worship specified by God's Calendar existed from the beginning and will continue into eternity.

What calendar do you actually worship/respect?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
