Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 30th day of the 6th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6020 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths begin tomorrow with Trumpets Sabbath on the 1st day of the 7th month (Saturday, September 3rd of the 2016, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Friday, September 2nd).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is a month late this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is also a month late.

The discussion continues with the newsletter reader response to the 2016-08-12 newsletter titled 'Depths' on the various depths of study and obedience.

Frank,

Thanks for spending time on this Shabbat to answer me. It seems that the only two faith traditions that are generally consistent in what they teach, are Torah Judaism and Roman Catholicism. Both have extra Biblical teachings, but at least both are consistent in what they in fact teach. Both are liturgical. I adhere to the Torah Judaism as taught from the front. The other one, to me, is very much a false religion, but one that is honest enough to say that their traditions are equal to, or even above Scripture. The rest of the so-called "Protestant" world is confused between the two mentioned above.

Shalom,

Ron

Brother Ron,

Using the words consistent and tradition in the same sentence are a bit contradictory to me, when we are discussing following the Bible. I believe the SDA are closer to the Bible than any other established denomination/tradition. You may disagree. There are always those who are falling behind the purpose of following all truth. Any organization represents a compromise. I consider myself a ThURA (Torah) observant SDA.

I suppose, brother Frank, it depends on how much compromise one is willing to put up with. I used to consider myself a "Messianic Jewish Adventist." That is because I thought that the SDA Church at least thought it was, let's say; OK, to practice the non-sacrificial observance of the yearly Levitical holy days.

But I noticed in this quarter's lesson quarterly that it clearly states that Christians are not to observe the actual days. Added to the statements by elder V. at the University SDA Church about us not needing the yearly Day of Atonement several weeks ago, I felt that teaching hundreds of young people and young adults such unscriptural, self-lifting ideas of his as truth, was just too much.

The SDA Church has had it's chance, given the efforts of a number of current, and former members to try to motivate it's leaders to at least allow for members to observe the yearly thematic worship times. It has made it's choice. I believe that the real, true Seventh-day Adventist Church is generally not within, except for a muted few, within today's SDA Church.

There are in some cases significant groups of feast-keepers within, and outside many other denominations.

With Adventist ministers extoling the observance of Easter Sunday "sunrise" services and attending them, and telling local congregations about their attendance, and of course, the continued extoling of Christmas as a time to honor Christ's birth, shows the dangerous position the Adventist Church leadership has placed the trusting members of their larger flock. Who are the ones stoutly, openly challenging the growing apostasy?

I think the time of sudden, overwhelming "surprise" may only be a few months away, given the current political/ideological anger and confusion in our country. The year when earth turns 6,000 years old, is only 15 years away.

The current ideological struggle going on in America right now has, as you may have noticed, thinly veiled religious overtones and underpinnings. Ellen White's prophetic statements are in line of Scripture and fast-fulfilling. Church leaders and theologians are playing games with the very few who are doing all in their meager power to warn them. They confabulate, lie, and obstruct against the final restoration spoken of by Jesus Christ and Ellen White, their yet-claimed "prophet."

Shalom

I responded:

Brother Ron,

Compromise... A sensitive subject. In my personal practice and beliefs no compromise is tolerated. In presenting 21st Century Present Truth to others I never compromise. However, I am considerate of their current level of understanding and beliefs and attempt to avoid the temptation to be 'hitting them over the head with a baseball bat'. As gently as the Holy Spirit leads me, I attempt to present enough to challenge their thought processes, but not to trigger defensive reactions. Some may consider this an unacceptable compromise, but this is the example I see of my Savior. When asked a difficult question I answer it plainly with no compromise.

John 16:12 I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

When fellowshipping with others I tolerate all kinds of nonsense with little comment. I agree and sympathize with the limits one can sometimes endure. I am rarely seen at the '11:00' sermon but I often attend Sabbath School, where I carefully attempt to choose a class that is the least insulting and offensive.

I am currently a member of the SDA denomination because that is where God has lead me to witness. I witness intensely every moment I am seen always in obedience to ThURA.

Numbers 15:37-41
37 IAUA spoke to Moses, saying,
38 Speak to the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them tassels on the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put in the tassel a strand of blue:
39 The tassel is for you to look at and remember all the commandments of IAUA, and do them that you seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to act wantonly.
40 That you may remember, and do, all my commandments, and be holy before your God.
41 I am IAUA your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am IAUA your God!

The time will probably come when the denomination will not tolerate my beliefs and will disfellowship me, but it will never be because I was confrontational.

I am dismayed by many 'feastkeepers' because they still compromise Bible truth by being to some degree ignorant or their non-practice of the rest of the Law of Moses. Yes brother, the end is coming quickly. I hope it doesn't go all the way to 6,000 years. I agree it looks like 15 years from now but only the Father knows the time.

So many details... So much confusion...

Are you compromising in your faithful practice of all of God's Law?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
