Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!  Are you ready?

Home / Archives

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 8th day of the 7th month of the Biblical Calendar in the estimated year 6021 Anno Mundi.

The Fall Sabbaths continue in 2 days with Atonement Sabbath on the 10th day of the 7th month (Sunday, October 1st of the 2017, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset Saturday, September 30th).

On God's Calendar the Biblical month begins on the global day after lunar conjunction. The Biblical year begins with God's New Year's Day (Passover) after the spring equinox (Spring Passover Rule). The Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) is the same this year. The Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is a day early.

A regular reader who often responds with words I find useful to share was prompted by the last blog to share his continuing quandary in choosing a group to worship with.

Frank,

Thanks for the note and message.

Today is Shabbat T'shuva, The Sabbath of repentance. Next Shabbat will be celebrated as Yom Kippur; the Day of Atonement.

I look back at the past year, since the last Yom Teruha, and find my wanderings between what is today called Seventh-day Adventism, and have found that, at least at our local Reform Jewish Synagogue, much more biblical truth is being taught, and sermonized about. It is all based in the readings, study and discussions about God's plan for His people (I guess I thought that was supposed to be all of us, Jew and non-Jew alike). As I put Jesus and Moses together, I am finding the whole truth. I keep Yeshua in my mind and heart, and experience Him (God) every day now.

In the Lesson Quarerly, the so-called "go-around on the Law in Galatians, especially chapter 4, vss 8--11, the Quarterly added a book by one, George Knight. He takes a completely opposite stance on what the apostle, Paul, wrote about "days, months, seasons and years" than does a similar book on the same subject, by a man I know, Professor Carl Cosaert of WWU School of Theology. Cosaert takes the view that Paul, in his criticism of his Gentile converts at Galatia who werte turning back to pagan times of worship of their many gods, saying that those times and related practices were "weak and beggarly" and "of the no-gods," did not include the worship times outlined in Leviticus 23, Exod. 34 and elsewhere. which he (Paul) kept and observed, himself.

George Knight, on the other hand, states that Paul was telling these same men of Galatia not to worship within either religious system. Knight says that the yearly holy days are now equal to, or of no more value than, the "weak and beggarly elements of the no-gods." He turns Paul against Paul, Paul against John, the Revelator, and worst of all, Paul against Jesus Christ and His message in Matthew 23: 1-thru-3. It appears that the SDA Church, if it has not already [become the] seventh-day Reform Catholic Church, is certainly on it's way to becoming just that. The Church leadership has apparently tossed out the more challenging prophetic words of Ellen White, the one they say in the Fundamental Beliefs, has the "gift of prophecy," or the "prophetic gift." Her Church is really in nearly full apostasy.

Time for us to all pray that the Ruach Elohiym, cuts it's way through the near total confusion over the very statement of God's character: the whole Law of God.

shalom in Yeshua, our Messiah.

Feel free to send this to whomever you may wish, and, if you prefer, you can include my name

I responded:

Ron,

I hear your pain and struggle to reconcile your best understanding of the Truth from God's Word with the beliefs and practices of the denominational organizations. The Word clearly demonstrates that religious organizations of any type have never been faithful in following all truth. However, our Savior has never turned His back on any of His followers no matter what their shortcomings and errors.

Since we are commanded to participate in "Holy Convocation" on all His Holy Days, we must decide what group is close enough to All Truth. You seem to find the most truth at your local Reform Jewish Synagogue, which denies the work of the Messiah on earth. I find the most truth at my local SDA church, which denies the words of our Messiah about all His Holy Days. There is no other satisfying choice and neither of these is a truly satisfying choice. I find so many issues with various SDA splinter groups that make them unsuitable even if there was one in my area. I have attended COG meetings but do not find them suitable either.

No matter what the problems with the SDA and there are many, I believe it is not appropriate to label them apostate as long as they practice and teach the seventh day. God will guide and direct according to His Plan, in His Time.

Be at peace,

Frank T. Clark - When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth... He will show you things to come. John 16:13 (FTCABE)

Do you follow truth close enough to see the quandary?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
