Preparing for the End of Time

The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 12th day of the 7th month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6016 Anno Mundi.

The fall holy day season continues with Tabernacles Sabbath in three days starting the evening of the 15th day of the 7th month (Monday, October 1th on the 2012, Gregorian Calendar, beginning sunset on Sunday, September 30th).

An amazing thing occurs in the Gregorian Calendar years of both 2011 and 2012. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) and the Jewish Calendar agree with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar!

It has come to my attention the Karaite Calendar determination has placed The Fall Sabbaths a day later than others. This is probably because they use predicted visual sighting rules which can be very arbitrary. Perhaps the Karaites simply do not want to agree with the Calculated Rabbinical Calendar.

In the 2012-09-14 newsletter I introduced a discussion I started on LinkedIN about the prophesied "Shaking". I believe the contents of the discussion which resulted are valuable to share with you. There are a lot of comments so I will share the first part this week and a second part next week.

Robin Willison • Frank, I think it ultimately comes down to whether you believe in the Bible and the Bible only, or mix in some tradition or church political correctness. Are we sure we are founded on Bible truth, or are we following the world, or our friends, the consensus of what we think our church believes or does not believe, our pastor, our favorite media preacher, or our favorite evangelist?

God's truth is derived from the Bible and must not be confused by mixing it with any of the above other sources. The shaking is caused by the call to follow all of the Bible, whether others see the Bible truths or not. We have discussed this on some other links. It is a final call to come out of any kind of belief that is tainted with anything else. We then have to choose which way we will go. All those who are following the Lamb will hear His call and will follow Him wherever He leads. Those who have a mixed faith, for some reason hate the pure faith, and fight against it.

Frank T. Clark • Robin, I agree with you completely. Do you think it is possible or even appropriate to attempt to identify a specific issue which is a significant underlying trigger for whether we are going to follow the Bible only or tradition?

For example, 3ABN has broadcast a program, which was repeated an unprecedented 3 times (or more) in the same time slot within in a single year period. It was called "Feast-Keeping and the Final Crisis". You can read some of my commentary and find links to the program here:

http://www.iaua.name/Archives/TLA010526.html

Ron du Preez states and 3ABN agrees that the dispute over Feast-Keeping will lead to the Final Crisis or as we call it, "The Shaking".

Terry Gustin • I don't think it will be one issue that brings about the shaking, but that there will be an awakening and revival of the faithful and a rebellion against that by those who are not fully converted. I believe there will be rebellion on many issues and fronts, as people have different weak areas and prejudices, that is where Satan will attack. Only if we are close to Christ and grounded in his word can we remain faithful. Only thru Christ's power and grace can we overcome. If we focus on one thing that we think is the shaking issue we can easily be deceived. We must be students of all of God's word and fully committed to following God, and focused on Christ.

Frank T. Clark • Terry, Welcome to the discussion. I agree with what you said. I especially like the thought "We must be students of all of God's word". While I agree in principle the shaking will not be over one issue, I think it is possible there will be one issue which will be more at the point of the controversy. Something akin to the idea of the straw that breaks the camel's back. The analogy is a bit silly of course but I suspect there is or will be something which is at the center or focus of the issue. Something like the error of pantheism in Ellen White's day which she called the Alpha heresy with the Omega to follow.

"I am instructed to speak plainly. "Meet it," is the word spoken to me. "Meet it firmly, and without delay." But it is not to be met by our taking our working forces from the field to investigate doctrines and points of difference. We have no such investigation to make. In the book Living Temple there is presented the alpha of deadly heresies. The omega will follow, and will be received by those who are not willing to heed the warning God has given." {1SM 200.1}

I suggest there is an additional thought a small step beyond what you said, closely related to the word revival and adding to the word awakening. The thought is in a word, reformation. I suspect there will be a central issue. This is hinted at by Ellen's statements on "New Light" and the issues surrounding the 1888 confrontation. About 1901 she said

"If we only knew what is before us we would not be so dilatory in the work of the Lord. We are in the shaking time, the time when everything that can be shaken will be shaken. The Lord will not excuse those who know the truth if they do not in word and deed obey His commands. If we make no effort to win souls to Christ we shall be held responsible for the work we might have done, but did not do because of our spiritual indolence. Those who belong to the Lord's kingdom must work earnestly for the saving of souls. They must do their part to bind up the law and seal it among the disciples." {6T 331.2}

I want to emphasize the sentence:

"The Lord will not excuse those who know the truth if they do not in word and deed obey His commands."

I would add, no excuse for those who do not seek the truth and obey.

Robin Willison • Dear friends, I agree with both of you. Yes, the issue is always about conversion, which affects our spiritual view of things, because spiritual things are spiritually discerned, and it is the Spirit that leads us into all truth. Remember that our Master told us in Matthew 7 that on the day He returns to this earth MANY leaders in the church will protest that they have been prophets, exorcists, and miracle workers in His name, but He will have to tell them, I NEVER knew you, depart from me you evil doers! If He never knew them, it means they were never converted but became leaders in the activity in the church. What about the rank and file who just attend church?

But I think the issues will divide over whether we are really submitting everything to God's Word or not, to know the truth that He wants to teach us, and firmly basing our life on it. Some will have clear Biblical support for what they are saying, while others reject their Biblical support and use other sources or distortions to make their points. We have seen quite a lot of that lately in the issue currently confronting our church.

Meanwhile, we are told that the final crisis will be over the sabbath. As we study this and the way the sabbath is couched among passages on the yearly sabbath calendar in Leviticus 23 and Ezekiel 20, we can see that the weekly and yearly sabbaths may stand together to be the final major issues both in the shaking within the church and the final crisis in general.

Frank T. Clark • Robin, It is true that conversion is the deeply underlying issue. Especially a type of conversion that occurs to a certain extent on a daily basis. Each day we must be renewing the commitment and effort to continue the daily struggle against sin. Each day we must continue to bathe ourselves in God's Word. Daily we need to be washing ourselves in a cleansing of the daily buildup of the dust of sinful accumulation.

Occasionally, a deep study of God's Word reveals an exceedingly dirty spot we had not seen before and requires a renewed conversion experience. We undergo a special effort and struggle to cleanse ourselves of this newly revealed dirty spot. I love this analogy of cleansing...

I absolutely agree the weekly Sabbath will be the central issue of the end time struggle but in the worldly struggle with truth. Those within the church of God have already accepted and embraced the weekly Sabbath. For the true church it is a non-issue. The weekly Sabbath is the overall sign of separation between worldly apostasy and truth.

My study of the shaking, especially from the perspective given by Ellen White, shows this issue as being largely within the church. This is where I agree the yearly Sabbaths become the dividing line and issue of confrontation over all truth. It is also important to note the test of the weekly Sabbath is more pressing since it is observed every week while the test of the yearly Sabbath is only observed at two seasons of the year. There are 52 observances of the weekly Sabbath in a year and only 7 observances of the yearly Sabbaths.

Part of being able to completely follow and observe the yearly Sabbath requires the recognition of the proper place of the Law of Moses. Far too many in the church blithely accept the lie that the Law of Moses is nailed to the cross. There are some superficially small requirements of the Law of Moses which are just as important to a deep conversion. As our Saviour said:

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law [of Moses], or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil [enhance].
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot [small part] or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one [!] of these least [!] commandments, and shall teach [!] men so, he shall be called the least [unknown] in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great [well known] in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:17-19

Are you following truth or willing to accept a lie?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
