The Lord is Coming!   Are you ready?

Dear Brothers and Sisters in IAUA (ee-ah-oo-ah) our Father,

Greetings on this day of preparation for the weekly Sabbath. I pray this newsletter finds you in good health and happy in the service of IAUA. This is the 7th day of the 3rd month of God's Sacred Calendar in the estimated year 6017 Anno Mundi.

The spring Holy Day season has passed. The fall Holy Day season begins with Trumpets Sabbath in 16 weeks and 1 day on the evening of the 1st day of the 7th month (Sabbath, September 7th on the 2013, Gregorian Calendar, at sunset on Friday, September 6th).

The Sacred month begins on the world day after lunar conjunction and the sacred year begins with the Spring Passover Rule dates my research, and others, has determined for the Gregorian Calendar dates of God's Sacred Calendar. Those who follow the Millerite Calendar (Spring New Moon Rule) will be observing the Holy Days a month later this year. The Jewish Calculated Rabbinical Calendar is two days early in the fall this year.

I am continuing from last week with comments triggered by a Messianic website discussion group. In particular I take note of the forum rules about the use of the Sacred Name of God. These rules can be found at:

http://theloveofgod.proboards.com/index.cgi? board=guidlines&action=display&thread=2009

9. Please note that it is not permitted on this forum to attempt to spell out the sacred personal name of Adonai or teach people "Sacred Name" theology. For those interested in learning more about this subject...please see the following article: Sacred Name Concerns

10. Also, the Hebrew name of the Messiah should be spelled "Yeshua" or the possible variant of "Yehoshua". Any "Sacred Name" variations that find no authenticity in the scriptures or in history should not be used. Although we should ideally use the name "Yeshua"...the use of the name "Jesus" is permissable.

Obviously, I never bring up the subject of the Sacred Name of God in this forum. The article "Sacred Name Concerns" is linked to:

A Google search for "Sacred Name Concerns" turns up copies at:

The last link is to a website of the original author of the article. It has been revised as early as 2004 and as late as 2011. The author is a self-proclaimed Messianic apologist. His paper is an excellent presentation of the various viewpoints of the Messianic movement, Judaism, and in fact almost all Christianity.

My viewpoint differs as you may well know. Ever since I was deeply introduced to the subject in 2004, I have struggled with this subject. I would keep trying to take a superficial viewpoint on the subject but the Holy Spirit would keep dragging me back to a deeper study. I have never dared to ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit and eventually my study took me completely outside the viewpoint of any denomination, tradition, or Biblical scholar.

My focus has always been to follow the Word of God wherever it would lead me without any concern for denominational viewpoint or tradition.

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
II Timothy 2:15

I am going to make a point by point examination of this document beginning with this newsletter and continuing in upcoming newsletters with a response of the viewpoint of my own study. I am still struggling with an urgent desire to walk away from addressing this subject again but the Holy Spirit constrains me from doing so. Please pray for my determination to follow the Lamb wherever He goes.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
Revelation 14:4
Quoting from the "Sacred Name Concerns" presentation.

How many of you have been in a Messianic religious setting as of late where you have heard someone use the words God, or Lord, or even Jesus Christ—and then someone gets up and publicly chastises the person? How many of you have been told that if you do not use Hebraic names and terms for the Father and the Son that your prayers will neither be heard nor answered? How many of you have seen people forget the love and compassion of our Savior, and whose faith is now tied up in pronouncing His name “correctly”?

I agree completely with this opening paragraph. I am pleased to see them using God instead of G-d and Lord instead of L-rd which is not following the typical Jewish tradition. Later they do make choices which stick with Jewish traditions.

I hope that my willingness to share the results of my studies on this subject are not viewed as forgetting love and compassion or a misdirected faith. I could tell you many stories about my experience with this type of situation. I specifically recall a recent incident mentioned in my 2012-11-09 newsletter titled "Extreme Examples".

I will continue responding to this article in a couple of weeks. Until then, you may wish to review what I have already said in my book "Sacred Name IAUA" at the http://www.sacredname.info website. You may also wish to review the entire "Sacred Name Concerns" article at the previously indicated link.

Is the Sacred Name of God a matter of concern to you or do you shrug your shoulders and follow tradition?

I pray we may all continue to seek love, peace, and unity in truth preparing for the soon coming of IAUShUO (ee-ah-oo-shoo-oh) Messiah, the Son of God.
